My home LAN consists of 3 different switches (2 Netgear 24 port managed and a DIN Rail 8 port PoE switch, designed to withstand the high temperatures in my attic) as well as about 50 devices. Originally I had all the switches wired with CAT5, but I had cheated and run one of the CAT5 cables alongside a 120 volt line, in order to get it into a room that was difficult to wire otherwise. I knew it was against "code" but figured as long as the 120 volt line didn't interfere with the Ethernet signal, then it would have to work. It worked fine for a couple of years but eventually I decided to redo that and ran fiber through my attic and over to all the switches. I used these Transceivers to terminate the fiber. Now I'm code compliant and ready for faster speeds when I need it.

Works perfect with Ubiquiti network switches. I bought tons of these for a campground WiFi deployment with fiber backbone utilizing their 8-port aggregation switches. These were plug and play compatible and reports gigabit links between all of the nodes. All of this is replacing legacy CAT6/copper network which was prone to weather/lightning interference. Ive used 10Gtek products in the past for smaller setups and I’ve never had an issue. If you aren’t certain about what to get, their support is excellent and they will point you in the direction of which SFPs to buy if you provide them the details of your equipment. Great product, great price, and great support

Definitely plug N play. First time using SFP or fiber of any kind and they just worked. I also liked that they come in a metal tin so they are really unlikely to be damaged.

Easy to use, and made a clear improvement in sound quality when I connected my router to my streamer (Eversolo T8) via an optical cable instead of ethernet cable!

Just did a fiber run from the House to my Girlfriend's outdoor office, from our core USW24 House switch to an 10Gtek/ipolex 1.25G Gigabit Ethernet SFP to RJ45 Fiber Media Converter, linking to the outdoor office's Unifi USW Flex Mini. Works like a charm, with Zero errors! These seem to work wiht any piece of hardware we have (HP and Ubiquiti). Great product at a great price. Highly recommend these SFPs. I bought enough that I shouldn't need to re-order for a long time.

I work for a technology solution provider, and we have settled on the 10Gtek brand because they consistently perform and do what they were purchased to do. In addition, they do a better job than most competitors of clearly labeling and describing their products, so we are not as likely to have to return items because we purchased the wrong thing.

Works with TP-Link SG2210P and ER7212PC. Performance is good. I get full gigabit speeds with these.
