Cons:1).The plexiglass sheet I received is actually 11-7/8” to 11-15/16”, as several reviews have stated. It is certainly not 12” square. That didn’t make a huge difference to me other than making for more complex measurement calculations for my intended purposes, but I can see how for some it could create an issue. Know that before buying it.2.) Product does come alone in a cardboard box. Mine did. I didn’t buy any additional items in the purchase, so other items may be combined if more are purchased.3.) While not specifically exclusive to this item alone, this material can be somewhat difficult to cut or drill if the right tools/methods aren’t used. It isn’t obnoxiously hard, but it is dense (if that makes any sense). Sharp cutters and drill bits are a must. Slower speeds will cause chipping, while speeds too high can cause moderate melting. Finding the right tool to modify is essential. Oh, and wear a respirator if cutting or drilling it. Milling this stuff stinks. I don’t think the off gas or sawdust from milling it is harmful, but the odor of the milling process is worth wearing protection alone.Pros:This product is amazing. Too many positives to list numerically. Although I haven’t measured it’s thickness with my calipers, it appears to be spot on at 1/2” thick. It’s super robust and seems to be amazingly strong. It comes with a sticker backed/adhesive backed thick paper film on both sides. This was beneficial for moderate scratch protection prior to use or application, but I found it most helpful for marking with a pencil for alterations, cuts, hole drilling, etc, which is impossible to do with a pencil on the plain plastic, unless you actually scribe and scratch it or use a Sharpie style marker. The crystal clarity of this stuff is out of this world. More clear than ANY actual glass I’ve EVER seen. I’m actually so impressed with this product that I’m trying to think of more things I can use it for to buy more. I made a router base plate with mine and this product was clutch! It was almost like it’s the perfect material, size, and dimensions for this. I couldn’t imagine anything working better.

The media could not be loaded. It was really fantastic product, bit on the pricey side, but easy! arrived from Amazon and we just unpackaged it. We kept the protective film on to protect the plastic clear surface from scratches while we were drilling the four holes and then just use it as a part of this plant holder that you see in the video. Came out very stylish and very neat.

I built a custom table out of old engine parts. I needed a top for it. I thought about casting my own out of epoxy, but it would have cost more and been harder to do. I used my router with a straight cut plunge bit. I cut down about 1/8th inch per pass. I gave it 4 stars because it was not cut straight and it was not 24"x24", as others have stated. None of that mattered to me in this case, but I would have been mad if I needed it to be at least square.

Thick enough and the right overall shape at a very good price.Difficult to find a local source of clear plexiglass to obtain this product in small quantity.Very satisfied with the supplier in providing me with this item for creating a top surface for the cylinder heads I am measuring volume.

Came well-packaged with bubble wrap and in pristine condition. Very strong 1/2" material. Surprisingly, to cut this material a metal jigsaw blade works much better than a wood jigsaw blade. The wood blade melts the material. Using to patch a Roman tub so that I can tap new holes for the faucet.Highly recommended.

Working on a pho-Neon (LED) sign and this material cut beautifully! Almost no smoke, good clean cuts with polished clear-looking edges. Will buy again!

Exactly as described. Came very well packaged and protected. It was cut quite a bit out of square but I was able to rectify that easily enough.
