I cannot comment on durability because it just arrived and I don’t know how it will hold up. I gave this as a gift and I rated it low on gift ability. My reason is, I requested a gift note to go with the product and it was not included in the package according to my friends. They were very pleased with the product and said it is beautiful. For that I should give it 5 stars.
