[Update] Sakobs support came through
[November 22nd 2020 Update]A few days after my October 2020 update, Sakobs support reached out to me. While it was longer than the 24 hour response time that they promised, they were quite helpful. I was asked to send a video of the aforementioned fuzzy sound, which I did. After reviewing it, they sent me a replacement which I'm happy to say, works quite well.I've restored my 5-star score, as it is entirely possible that I just got a bad unit. If I have any other troubles, I'll update again and adjust the score accordingly. But hopefully I won't! I've moved my October update to the bottom of the review.***ORIGINAL REVIEW***For the price, this is a home run. This Sakobs sound bar is the 5th bluetooth PC speaker that I have purchased in the last month trying to find the perfect desktop soundbar. The other four all had their highs and lows, but none of them could meet all of my requirements.Specifically, I wanted:~Bluetooth 5.0 (all other versions of BT have an issue with matching sound to video on my Mac, causing lip-syncing issues among other things).~Built-in battery so I didn't have to run a cable to power it (all the time).~Unobtrusive look that didn't distract from the rest of my design aesthetic on my desk (no gaudy plastic or glowing lights, please)~Deep (as can be expected without a sub woofer) stereo sound that that actually sounded like stereo (several of the smaller speakers were technically 'stereo' but they were so small that it just appeared to come from the front, not from either side).~Good multi-purpose sound (e.g. suitable for gaming, general music, etc.)This speaker not only nails every point above, but it does so for (well) under $30! I think I paid around $20 w/ a coupon. Some of the other speakers I tested were in the $40-$60 range and none of them can touch this one.The only incredibly minor nitpick that I could come up with is that the battery life is only 16 hours. But since I use the speaker on my desk, I can just plug it in (so far it's trending for around a week per charge w/ my usage). The Bottom Line: This speaker punches WAY above its weight. For around $20, there isn't a better Bluetooth speaker on Amazon. You simply cannot go wrong at this price. Heck, even without the coupon it's a steal at $30.[October 8th 2020 Update]I'm dropping my original score from 5 to 2 stars. My speaker started having problems and Sakobs support is non-existent (as in, they never got back to me after multiple contact attempts). Read on for an explanation.Around a week ago, my speaker started to have a slight fuzzy quality to the sound. The static noise gets worse the higher the volume goes. When it's low, it isn't too bad (definitely there, but almost tolerable). I connected it to three difference sources (the Mac Mini that I have been using it on, a TV, and a phone) and all three presented with fuzz. So it's definitely not the source.Anyhow, the speaker is still well within the warranty so I reached out to Sakobs for service. It's worth noting that, annoyingly, I cannot do so through the Amazon seller contact feature like almost EVERY other vendor. So I went to their website and first used the builtin contact form. Their site promises a response in 24hrs. I waited (two days, actually because I forgot about it) and didn't hear back. So I copied the customer service address on their site and emailed directly. That was almost two days ago as of this review update. Still no response.I'm pretty disappointed in Sakobs support (or lack thereof). I realize that as a $30, I'm not out *that* much, but if you offer a warranty or even just a contact guarantee, you ought to back it up.If they get back to me I'll update again. But I'm not holding my breath.

Surprising quality and value
Needed to replace my computer speakers and didn't want to get big obnoxious speakers, taking up desk space and getting in the way. Through searching, came across this soundbar, which wasn't what I originally planned for, but found interesting. The fact that it can be battery powered and portable, with cabled and Bluetooth connectivity, is a nice feature. So, decided to give it a try.Didn't expect a lot for the price, but have been pleasantly surprised. The speaker is decently loud, very solid built, looks nice, easy to use, and sounds great. My old computer speakers had a separate subwoofer, so they handled bass better. Considering there is no subwoofer, this soundbar puts out a decent amount of bass. The high and mid-range are very clear and detailed. It's hard to believe the sound quality for the price. It's much better than the Anker SoundCore for example. The Anker is not even close to as loud or good sounding. Granted, this speaker is much larger, but not that much more expensive.I really like the fact that the speaker can be used on battery power too. Have brought it outside and streamed through my phone for 4 hours with no problem. The Bluetooth connects quickly and easily. Sound quality is a little better through the cabled connection, but is still good through Bluetooth. My main use is playing music during work, watching videos, and Zoom calls. It's been awesome for these. I like how it has a built in microphone if needed. I use a Blue Yeti mic, so don't have a need for it, but it's cool it's there if using it portable.Have never tried the USB or flash card ports, so can't speak on how well they work. They're not features I have much need for, but some people might use them. The only thing that is kind of annoying is how the speaker plays a chime sound when switching inputs or turning it on and off. It's much louder than it needs to be. That's minor, but figured I'd mention it.Overall, been very happy with this speaker and highly recommend it!

Sound delay when using with Desktop Computer
This soundbar works great if you want to listen to music or podcast. If you are not watching videos then the sound is very crisp and clear. The bass is great, the volume goes pretty high, it has long battery life, and voices sound great on this device. Great value for the price. The only issue was that when connecting it to a Desktop Computer (weather a direct connection with an aux cord or Bluetooth) the sound was always out of sync with the video. The first day, this wasn't the worst, but the more music videos and game reviews I watched, I started to notice it to the point where it was a horrible experience to watch anything. Watching a drummer beat on a drum or a gun go off in a first person shooter game, then hearing the actual sound like a second later was super annoying. Overall it is a great speaker for hanging by the pool side, working out in a garage, or hanging with friends, but if you are getting it as an alternative to Desktop speakers, don't!
