So tender. Marinated first
This lamb was very surprising. I thought it would come tied but didn’t. This made it so easy to marinate and then. Because it was flt was grilled to perfection. Absolutely delicious! Will definitely order again.

Mild flavor, tender when marinated, grilled, and sliced thin.
Mild lamb flavor, very little fat and membrane to remove. Marinated in a yogurt sauce for shawarma and grilled in 1"-2" strips, then sliced thin. Tender, delicious, and even people who almost never eat lamb loved it.

Butterflied Kneecap?
I don’t remember cooking or eating such a badly butchered piece of meat. It looked hacked from the bone with a dull axe. There was no attempt to trim the interior of the roast. It was left with visible connective tissue all over the place. I trimmed as much of this way as I could, but even so there was a lot of uncomfortably tough, and gristled bits throughout the roast ?

Came in TWO pieces, 1 3 lb, and another pound
I wanted about 2 pounds of leg of lamb, boneless, I called my local Whole Foods market meat department to see how big these were. He told me about 3 lbs or less. I thought, OK, that will work, hopefully, my shopper will pick a smaller piece. What I received was one approximately upper 2 to 3 pound piece, nicely tied and an about 1.25 lbs piece of another roast, just lobbed off. Now....what am I going to do with the extra EXPENSIVE piece???? It is too small for my family for dinner, and frankly, I don't feel like figuring out what to prepare with this odd ball piece. I just wanted the one piece that it looks like on the website and I called the meat department about., grief. So, value, I paid $40+ for the piece of meat that I wanted (and received) which should have been $30 or less. I also paid 10+ for this extra piece of meat that they lobbed off another and included in my meat bundle. ridiculous!
