NUTTY NUTRITIOUS complex whole grain
This versital whole grain Cooks in 32 minutes (7 minutes@ 100% power then 25 minutes @50% power) in the microwave. I combine the whole Buckwheat groats with organic steel cut Oatmeal, ground Flaxseed, Cinnamon, Nutmeg and Maple syrup. Just before serving I add crushed roasted Walnuts and Blueberries for a SUPER NUTRITIOUS complex carbohydrate breakfast POWER BOWL!I use 1 cup of Organic Buckwheat to 2 cups of Organic steel cut Oatmeal. They take the same time to cook together and their nutritional content is different and complimentary. In the areas oatmeal has nutritional deficiencies Buckwheat is stronger and where Buckwheat has its deficiencies Oatmeal is stronger. This organic grain combination provides great complex gluten-free carbohydrates that don't contain any glyphosate residue. Together they provide a balanced high PROTEIN and FIBER rich combination, and these nutritionally complex and dense whole grains are very satiating and slowly digested.I also use this Buckwheat after grinding it into flour, as an addition to my CUSTOM Blueberry PANCAKE recipe. I combine 1/3 BUCKWHEAT flour with 1/3 whole wheat black onyx Sorghum flour and 1/3 Oatmeal flour and also include some ground Flaxseed. I add Cinnamon and Nutmeg to the mix. Then combine the dry mix with equal parts of a combination of whole milk Ricotta cheese and low fat Buttermilk plus 2 Eggs. Additionally I include real Vanilla extract, Orange Juice and Orange Zest. The inclusion of this Buckwheat adds a complex NUTTY flavor, and creates a NUTRITIOUS and complexly delicious BESPOKE pancake batter. That's a lot of ingredients, but before serving, top it off with maple syrup and the results are incredible!I get the Bob's Red Mill organic Buckwheat groats 4-1lb.pack as a $ubscribe and $ave item. The additional savings makes this rather pricey grain a little more affordable.

I LIKE IT AS-IS
I enjoy this cooked, but I REALLY enjoy it straight-out-of-the-bag for breakfast. It's perfect when mixed with a 1:1 ratio of Oat-Bran to add volume. I always include a scoop of hemp protein powder, a spoon of coacoa flavored sunbutter, a spoon of molasses, along with a few shakes of ginger powder. I then add just enough water for a nice consistency and whip it all together. The uncooked Buckwheat adds a crispy CRUNCH, like a nestlee crunch bar! The crispy crunchy texture w/ the taste of coacoa, ginger, and molasses is everything and more! Greek yogurt is another fine touch that adds to the texture 🤭🤭🤭 I love it!

Thanks for keeping UPC barcode readable!
Good product, but...Thanks for keeping the UPC readable by putting Amazon barcode on external bag and NOT covering factory UPC directly!I use a exercise/meal app. that reads factory UPC barcode to pre-load nutrition values. Other Amazon vendors put an Amazon inventory sticker directly over factory barcode. I am discontinuing ordering through Amazon for other food vendors as I receive product that I have to pick at the Amazon sticker to read the factory UPC barcode. Thanks again for making life easier!

Best Buckwheat Crackers!
Although this Buckwheat is Raw I made dehydrated crackers and the taste was phenomenal! They are easy to work with and I trust Bob's Red Mill Products so I knew it would be healthy and delicious. I just soaked the groats overnight then rinsed them the following morning and made my crackers and dehydrated them. The smell filled the house with such a wonderful smell. I knew they would turn out delicious and they did. So I will be buying these again.

Bob's Red Mill is an excellent overall product.
Overall Bob's Red Mill is one of the best products on the market for grains, especially if you have Celiac's or suggested Celiac's. Groats are getting harder to find in local markets for some crazy idea that I can't fathom. I honestly think we are finding our groceries shrinking in options instead of being more diverse in it's options. This should be a no-brainer. This is an excellent overall product, I would recommend toasting the groats before using if you can for enhanced flavors. It can be use 1-1 in place for making flour if you are intended to replace wheat flour. For a Kasha grain, toast on the stove without oil, move constantly on medium heat. Once toasted, you can add oil, onions, mushrooms, etc to make a stir fry and it's excellent. It can also replace oatmeal in the morning as well as a heated grain. Love it as Kasha, and for making flour.

Versatile and delicious here's a few pointers.
Well for starters buckwheat is very versatile. For example I love fried eggs and I fry an egg in buckwheat. If I just want to cook some to eat here is my simple how to. Heat a electric skillet to medium heat or a frying pan with a lid. Pour desired buckwheat on add oil or bacon grease and stir it all up get everything covered evenly in oil you do not want it swimming. Move it around with a spoon or spatula and allow it to brown. Next pour in your water and put on the lid let it steam pull the lid and stir occasionally watch that water you don't want it to stick or burn. You might need to add a little more water no problem. After its steamed absorbed the water its ready. Add more water if you want it soft use less if you want it firm. I go firm, speead it out and fry an egg or two you have a delicious breakfast. You feel full after eating buckwheat and it tastes so good. Also I think Bob's Red Mill has the best Buckwheat and I love to support a small Oregon business.
