Sony RDPT50IPN Lightning iPad/iPhone/iPod Portable Speaker Dock,Black

This device has an elegant design and easily accessible control buttons. The sound is clear without too much base. The convenient remote control works well. I received a unit with a defective battery but fortunately, the seller customer service is amazing. They went the extra mile to provide a replacement battery that they send themselves at their own expense. I admire their perseverance and dedication since the parcel returned and they had to send it again, with more cost. They spent time keeping in touch with me with several friendly emails. Wonderful people indeed!

I am so disappointed! Bought this for my mom as a Christmas present and the battery is so old it won’t even turn on. Why are you selling such old and outdated products? NO I did not read the very small print that said when this was first available, but you should not be selling something that is so old that Sony no longer even stocks the remplacement batteries. The even worst part is we are being charged to RETURN IT. That’s completely inexcusable. BEWARE OF THIS SELLER!!!!

My husband bought me the new iPad for Christmas last year. I had the iPad 2 before that and had cracked the screen. I also had a dock that had the old connector. I had planned to get the screen fixed but he took my old one over (and my dock). I waited a long time for any company to finally come out with a dock with the new connector. I am very happy with this dock. The sound is good and I like that I can just put my iPad on it to charge.

This product was a disappointment to me. It did not have the remote with it. The case/handle was dirty and sticky, which I found unacceptable. I would have to purchase the 30-point connector to use with my iPod Nano, which although annoying I would have done. There was no manual on how to use this device. The device arrived quickly, which was a positive.

It had great sound but not enough volume. It was easy to use and compatible with the iPhone 5. It was difficult to return. I had trouble getting authorization from the sender.

I absolutely love this docking station. I had the older version of the ipod and when I had to purchase a new one I needed to get the docking station with the lightning connector. This works great with the new nano - the remote is good and it is portable!!!

I use only ONE WEEK and after that didn't work. I contact to Sony and the technician tried to fix but he didn't and recomended send to Sony repair. After the 6 week sent back NOT ONLY NO REPAIR, BUT LOOK WHAT NEVER TRIED TO FIX. I VERY DESAPOINTED AND NEVER EVER BE BACK TO BUY SONY PRODUCTS. Amazon didn't acepted to refund and only refered to Manufactor.VERY BAD PRODUCT AND POLICY WITH CUSTOMER.

My husband likes to listen to music and/or sports talk to fall asleep at night but also needs to charge his phone. We were looking for a simple speaker dock (NOT a clock radio) to serve this purpose that would fit on a night stand and have a remote control. This fit the bill very well! The only draw back is that your phone won't charge if you have a case on it. He has one of the slimmest cases on the market and the port is still to short to initiate charging. I had a feeling this would be the case though, so for $9 I bought a pack of 2 little lightning port extenders and they work perfectly with this speaker. Yes it's a little annoying that the phone won't sit flush in the speaker but honestly it doesn't matter. It works perfectly right out of the box with no need for any additional apps. The sound is really quite good for its size and what you pay. Certainly better than others on the market. We're really happy with the purchase!!

The sound is great, love the features like how it folds up and has the battery backup. Wish the connector was just a bit better - easy with iPhone, little tougher with iPad, but overall great.
