These glasses are and quality. Have dropped a couple times already and no breaks! Very sturdy glass.

Beautiful for special occasions. We love them so much, we now use them every day. Sturdy.

These are attractive, very reasonably-priced highball glasses. Pros: the glass is thick. Cons: the glass is thick. It's nice that you don't have to worry about them shattering every time you touch them, as you might with other crystal, but the jelly-jar thickness of the glass might not be to everyone's liking. The gold rim looks like it will last a bit longer than most do -- a definite plus, since even a light wash cycle in most dishwashers can eventually wear away the gold. The cross-hatched texture on the bottom half of the glass makes for a good grip -- another definite plus if you're one who likes her whiskey tall. I also bought a set of the old-fashioneds; the above comments hold true for those as well. I was tempted to order from Macy's during their pre- and post-Chrismukah sales, but although their price for 4 glasses in either size was $30, they charge an audacious $10 for shipping, unless one purchases $99 worth of merchandise. Amazon's price was $37, but with the Prime membership, shipping was free. I just checked Macy's, and the sets are back up to $60 for 4. Amazon wins again!

I was relieved that the glassware looks as good - or better - in person than the online photos. It is perfect as a water glass when I use my fancy china, really adds sparkle to the table. FYI, to preserve the gold rim, these glasses need to be hand washed which I am happy to do, but others might object. Worth a little TLC for an attractive glass that feels good to hold.

Glasses just arrived and craftsmanship is unparallel. Hand washed immediately and could feel the quality. Gold rim is exquisite and attention to detail in embossed design is exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely recommend!
