Q: Can I wind thread from a cone on this machine?

I wind using this from a cone. You have to place the cone down on the floor on a stand or such and feed from there Alternatively I hold the cone horizontally to the side of the machine using a couple of my fingers jammed inside the cone and the machine winds the thread from there. I sometimes tension the thread as it unspools by pinching it gently between my thumb and forefinger as it unwinds from the cone, I also do the tension thing from a reel of thread also. You just have to think outside the box.

Q: Will it work for Viking bobbins

No! It says it doesn't but I didn't see that before I bought it. I have Jamone and Brother machines but it doesn't work on my Pfaff or Viking bobbins.
