Product Description The Government of India decides to honor five entrepreneurs in a small town called Shrirajpur in Maharashtra, India, which is well publicized all over the country. Then on an Amavas night (no moon) one of the entrepreneurs is brutally strangulated by a rope and killed. The police, especially local Police Inspector Pratap Tungare are baffled. Before the police could even piece together a motive, exactly on the next Amavas the second entrepreneur is killed in a similar fashion. Now even more vigilante, and suspecting more serial killings, the Police, assisted by CID Inspector Mahesh, alert the three remaining entrepreneurs to exert all due caution. Despite of this, no one was able to prevent the third entrepreneur from being killed. Then the police get an anonymous tip, which leads them to the arrest of one Laxmikant Lokhande, a private investigator by profession, who claims that he is innocent, however, has no explanation to offer of the evidence located in his house. The police also arrest a second suspect named Avinash Navre, a press reporter. What the police do not know is that there is also a third culprit at large - a culprit who has been closely working with the police - and who is beyond and above any suspicion. About the Actor Laxmikant Berde (3 November 1954 16 December 2004; Mumbai) was an Indian comic actor who acted in many Marathi and Hindi movies.From his early years Laxmikant was interested in acting as a career. His participation in stage drama during the cultural activities for Ganesh festival celebrations performed at Konkanast Vaishya Samaj, Girgaum got him interested in acting. He won awards for participation in inter school and inter college drama competitions. Following this Berde started his acting career with the Mumbai Marathi Sahitya Sangh. In 1983 his first major hit play was Purushottam Berde's Tour"".Laxmikant made his movie career debut with the Marathi movie Lek Chalali Sasarla . Following this Berde started getting offers to act in Marathi films and acted in popular films like Dhum Dhadaka, Hamal De Dhamal, Ashi Hi Banwa Banvi, Balache Baap Brahmachari and Thartharat. Berde's first Hindi film was Sooraj Barjatya's Maine Pyar Kiya with Salman Khan. Some of his other popular Hindi films include Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Mere Sapno Ki Rani, Arzoo, Saajan, Beta and 100 Days, and Anari.

A Hindi dubbed version of Marathi Movie Khatarnak(2000) starring Johnny Lever,Mahesh Kothare and Lakshmikant Berde in this triple hero comic thriller.The story is about a mysterious serial killer killing a group of people and the murders are investigated by a damn funny police officer played by Johnny Lever. Mahesh Kothare plays a smart Police Officer who later joins hands with Johnny Lever to investigate the murders. From here starts the Mahesh Kothare-Johnny Lever team to track down the real killer. Lakshmikant Berde plays a private detective who gets implicated in the murders and also turns out to be Mahesh Kothare's childhood friend and later escapes with the help of Mahesh to catch the real killer.Sadashiv Amrapurkar also stars in the movie as a lawyer who would fight any case just for money and he is at his comic best in the movie.Music is okay but Direction by Mahesh Kothare is praiseworthy.Even though there is no Shahrukh Khan or Akshay Kumar type of hero in this movie but you will still enjoy it.
