Very pleased with this purchase. It takes some time to put together but one person can do it on their own except perhaps getting the table flipped upright where it is helpful to have another set of hands. All of the holes lined up well for the assembly process. I definitely recommend.

Easy to put together and easy to take it down

Black/Cherry: Received in two days via FedEx. Four boxes, all in good shape. Put everything together pretty easily in less than two hours by myself with no issues at all. Butterfly leaf tested, no issues/scratches. Not one scratch anywhere, on any of it. Very solid, nice looking set. Definitely worth $587.

I did a lot of local shopping looking for a new dining room set but everything just seemed so so or was way out of my budget. My current one was frankly to big although it was the same color as my new one. Black bottom cherry tops. I read all the reviews of this product which were extremely helpful and decided this might be the one for me. It came within a week and the delivery service was very easy.I was surprised with the delivery truck it was one of those absolutely huge semi trucks from the freeways. It only came with one gentleman and it was quite a load for him but what a sweet guy he was. I gave him some homemade fudge for his time and trouble and you would’ve thought I gave home a million bucks.It did take me four hours to put everything together. It was packed very very well lots of padding separation with Styrofoam etc. I know some folks have said they’ve had scratches on the table but I did not have a one. You’re going to have up a lot of cardboard and Styrofoam to discard but I appreciated their efforts to keep their product in good shape during shipping.When not using the butterfly leaf this table us a bit smaller than what I had which is what I wanted. I seem to have a lot more room now in the dining area. I also like the fact that it has a pedestal base instead of four legs. It seems made extremely well very sturdy.As to putting it together the directions were pretty straightforward and they supply all the tools.However I was a bit confused as to removing the butterfly leaf and putting it back in. Just take your time and also make sure the table itself is open to its absolute maximum.It seemed a bit bulky and awkward to put the butterfly leaf into place in the unit so I put some padding on both sides of the spread apart table so that I wouldn’t scratch anything. Just a hint for those of you putting it together!All in all I am very satisfied with my purchase I can’t wait to use it for Christmas.

I had ordered a different set prior to this one and had to return it due to a multitude of problems. This set is far superior to the other one and was easy to assemble and is much higher quality. It is sturdy, with no dents or abrasions and the butterfly leaf works perfectly. The six chairs fit comfortably around the expanded table and four chairs fit comfortably when the table is closed to the round position. I highly recommend this product. So happy that I did not just settle for the previous one which was a different manufacturer and low quality. I have already received compliments on this very nice dining room set!

The table set looks great and initially felt very sturdy. Within 3 months a chair cracked with minimal use. I had contacted customer service who stated they would send me a replacement chair. Then when I did not receive a replacement chair I contacted them again and was informed they don’t send replacement chairs. When I informed them I had it in writing via email, they did not respond. Poor customer service and I don’t see this table set lasting very long.
