What Can I Be? STEM Careers from A to Z

I can’t believe I spent $12 on this. It would be worth it for maybe $3. There are 26 jobs with a brief sentence or two on each…Maybe a few my children hadn’t explicitly heard of like “yacht designer.”I’m honestly considering seeing if I can return on principle.

Simple and striking information that appeals to the minds of kids. I love the way she highlights interesting career options to get kids thinking… lovely!

Great book for kids

My kids are 8 and 10. They completely love this book! This book has introduced them to a ton of new careers that we had not thought about before. I love that each page offers a nice illustration and description of what the job entails. What can I Be is also great for building vocabulary and inspiring discussions.Overall, I highly recommend having this book around not just as nice picture book showing diversity in STEM careers but also as a resource for older kids to awaken their awareness for options in their future.

My children love this book. My daughter wants to be a veterinarian or a zoologist because of her love for animals. Now that she has seen the real definition of these two she’s even more convinced . My son who just turned 7 read the whole book and now wants to be a statistician because he loves math. He even wants to read the book to his class tomorrow. Im so pleased with the way this book has my kids thinking about their futures already

I gifted this book for friends with children that may not have much exposure to the types of careers they can pursue one day in STEM related fields. This is a great way to promote the learning and awareness of STEM by engaging both children and adults.

This is cute book for my curious 6 year son. My son is into science and math and this book gave him examples of careers doing what he loves. My son is now interested in robotics! This book is awesome for curious kids and I love how the author laid the careers out alphabetical making it easy for children to follow. My son asked to get it for a friend for Christmas.

This is a fabulous book -- and much needed. STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) is shaping our future more and more and our youth need to be exposed to and prepared to be successful in it whether they intend to pursue a STEM major or not. This colorful book introduces 26 STEM fields in an easy read for very young kids. Well done!
