This concept is great for cable management, so you don't have wires all over the walls. I've done several great installs with them, but remember this is not the one for power cords. You can use them for that, but it's a tight fit compared to the other models with the built-in plugs. This is best used for HDMI, USB, etc., wire/cable management for a clean install look. You can also paint them to match the wall color once installed for a cleaner look. The first pic uses this model, which wasn't great for the power cord. The other pics are of the other types with built-in power plugs.If you have issues with the hole saw, just use the allen wrench that came with it to tighten the drill bit to it so it doesn't stop spinning and you'll be back in business.

Wow, this is seriously a great find. First of all — it comes with a drill bit that fits perfectly for installation. That alone saved me time and guesswork.Second — installation is super easy, and using it day-to-day is just as smooth. The outer cover is made of a rubbery plastic that doesn’t feel cheap at all — it’s actually pleasant to the touch and really practical to work with.Honestly, I’m just glad I found this. Makes cable management way less annoying and actually kind of satisfying.

I’m so pleased with this product. I almost bought another one for over double the price but I’m so glad I stumbled on this one. It had everything I needed and looks great. I even bought one for my little sister and I’m going to install it tonight.

Starting with the premise that no cable management wall plate is perfect, this item is surprisingly good, minus one drawback mentioned in most other reviews. The hole saw blade is best just thrown in the trash upon opening. I bought this for the other features knowing I would likely not use the bit, but out of curiosity I gave it a whirl. It lasted about 20 revolutions. I don't even know what base metal it is made of, but the % of steel has to be very low. See pics.That being said, when it comes to the product, it is awesome. Worth purchasing your own 3" hole saw bit. It snugs up tightly to the wall with use of front facing Philips screws to tighten (these are hid behind a rubber membrane in the listing pictures). I did not over tighten them, as you can tell the plastic is not military grade. But snug enough worked well. Another nice feature is that unlike others which have plastic apertures that tend to fray cables, this one has a thick rubber membrane. It is almost too inflexible, but I didn't have an issue wiggling three 24 AWG cables through.

I wrote another review about the smaller size and you can see my full comments there.I didn't know there was a smaller size when I purchased these, but they still worked out just great. If you are going to be using a Sleek Socket, I would encourage you to use this size as the female end of the plug will fit so much easier.I've used a bunch of these and have a couple of spare sets on stand by for future projects. Great product, thank you!
