Gourmet settings makes great stuff. I’ve had many sets over the years along with serving utensils and they always hold up great. They stay shiny and never bend. Their quality surpasses any of the overpriced stuff (villeroy & boch,Robert Welch, crate & barrel etc) this pattern isn’t too long and very comfortable to hold.

Heavy weight quality flatware, modern style. This additional set was purchased through Amazon Warehouse to supplement sets I had, and items were better than described. Only negative I find is that the handles are heavy, and the knives tend to flip off the plate when being carried from the table. You have to warn people or else you may have stains on your carpet. Like the size of the spoons, soup spoon is realistic size, not huge like some I have. Have washed in the dishwasher for four years and flatware looks shiney and in good condition, with a very few spots.

Have had this set for years but have somehow lost the occasional piece. They are sturdy and don’t bend easily so finding replacement pieces made my day. Would definitely recommend this product

I find these to be nice everyday flatware. They are about average weight for similarly prices pieces. They are attractive and have held up well.

Love this set! Can’t get enough of it. My fist set looks as good as the new set. One of those styles just don’t change

I purchased a full set of Soprano's from Costco about 4 years ago (2006). When I wanted to add on to my set I consulted the Gourmet Settings website and thought I had a Strand pattern ( Gourmet Settings Strand 20-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 4 ). Thankfully I double checked the dimensions before purchasing. The Strand and Soprano patterns are very similar with the Strand set being a bit longer and more symetrical in formal settings. You can say the Soprano is a junior Strand set, not exactly 'formal' dimensions but your friends won't notice. I use this flatware for everyday use and I am not gentle with it. :)This is a great set of flatware. I love one piece flatware for sanitary reasons. No hidden areas for stuff to hide like some cheap sets found in retail stores. Stainless is the sanitary standard for all food (and FDA) service.This flatware (like all of GS's products) is solid. Solid enough to dig into the hardest ice cream with out fear of bending a spoon. The knives are not serrated (I rarely use them) and you can pick up some very nice GS steak knives ( Gourmet Settings Stainless-Steel Steak Knives, Set of 4 or Gourmet Settings 4-pc. Steak Knives Flatware Set - Satin ) that will go well with this set.I highly recommend visiting the Gourmet Settings website prior to any purchase to ensure the patterns/dimensions meet your approval before you purchase.

I love the "weight" of these utensils - very heavy and solid feeling.
