Amana Tool - DSS-100 14 Pcs Dado shims 5/8 Bore

I had purchased a narrow kerf chopsaw blade and didn't even think that it would affect my laser guide that was also mounted to the arbor. The laser did a perfect job lighting up the back of the teeth of the blade. So I needed to shim it out just a bit. I may have been able to cut a piece of plastic from a lid of some sort or something but I wanted something that would be accurate and flat. These did the job just fine and I have some spare thin shims as well. Can't have too many shims.

The original Amana shims use a color scheme that is keyed to the manual making it easy to select and deploy the proper shims for the job. Unfortunately these replacement shims use a different color scheme. They are the same as the original shims in every other respect, however, and work as well as the original shims.

They work. A bit cheaper in quality over metal shims but they work.

The 5/8 bore on several of them is not finished. If you want to use them, you have to cut the hole out by hand. If I wanted to go that route I would have used some old "clamshell" packaging! I'd appreciate a set that is finished.

Overpriced and thickness not marked on the shims. Have to keep referring to a color code
