All FOUR units I bought converted to 42VAC
I live overseas in a 220V country, and was excited to get these in the mail. My wife plugged an item into the converter (120V) socket, and started smelling something funny and immediately unplugged it. With the other three units, I tried a couple of lamps and a hair dryer--the top adapter (220V) worked great, but the bottom one (120V) seemed shy on power.Sure enough, when I plugged a meter into both sockets, the top one read 220V, but the bottom one read 42V. ON ALL FOUR UNITS. Definitely a bad batch. I'm going to try another set...hopefully I'm not disappointed this time.UPDATE: I received my four replacements in the mail...ALL FOUR OF THEM HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM AS WELL!!! HOW CAN EVERYONE BE RECOMMENDING THIS PRODUCT???

Do not buy!
This converter was used once, brand new out of the package, and luckily I didn’t use the USB ports and only plugged my apple cube into the “110” outlet on the device. After 10 minutes of super slow charging, I smelled a burning electronics smell and noticed the charging cube I had plugged into the converter was super hot! Luckily, I didn’t use a cheap charging cube, so my iPhone is not toast. My brother in law had an electrical tester with him for work, so we checked the output at both outlets and got 47volts and 238volts. Neither of these were helpful for me. Guess I got what I paid for

Mine came with a nice zipper case
Comes with all the plug types i’ve encountered in my travels. Nice to have the USB ports as well. I carry this and one of the ‘dumb’ ones that just converts the physical plugs.Basically, use this for mid-to-low wattage resistive or motor-driven stuff and the ‘dumb’ type for electronics with switching power supplies.Came with a nice zipper case as well.

Delivered Damaged Goods
I bought this for a trip we’re headed on in a few weeks. It was recommended we buy more than one, as typically you have multiple things you’d need to charge. This one was hands down the most expensive of the ones I was looking at. I went back and forth, but finally pulled the trigger because more money = better quality right?....And I wanted to have the best for our once in a lifetime trip. It arrived today, already damaged. The metal inside the left port is all jacked up and we all know what happens when those get tweaked at all. Very disappointed and wish I would have just ordered two of the cheaper ones now. I suppose the silver lining is that the right port still works and it did come with a nice case to carry it in.

Flat out doesn't work. Destroyed an ice cream maker
Bought 5 of these for using US appliances in Denmark (on 220V).First one blew a fuse and destroyed an ice cream maker.I assumed that one might have been defective. So I tried a second one on a toaster I wasn't worried about losing. The toaster survived, but was glowing like a lightbulb, when I plugged it in.Measuring the output of this device with a voltmeter, it simply doesn't convert voltage at all. Output for both devices was 230V.Don't plug any 110V appliance into this unless it has a power supply that can handle 220V already (and then why would you buy this)

Great choice
This was a good gadget for international travel. My roommate brought the wrong adapter so I was more than happy that I brought this one. We mostly just used it to charge our phones and power banks. So I can’t speak to the converter aspect. It’s nice that it comes with a carrying case so you don’t forget the adapters. Overall very nice. Oh I used this adapter in West Africa if that helps.

Nice package but defective priduct
I really liked the packaging of the item and to company’s credit the instructions say to test product out before going in your trip. I did that and the button on back side of product that allows attachments to slide in place and eject was stuck pressed in. I am returning product in favor of something more reliable for our trip over seas.

Only 1 output is converted. The other one is a straight through adapter.
When I bought it, I was under the impression the both 3 prong outlets would be 110-120V out. Only 1 output is converted though, leaving 220v on the other. This makes no sense to me, because the reason for having it is to convert the voltage. If you are using a power "brick", as many appliances have, the voltage will be converted there. So, a straight through adapter is redundant, because a brick will work with either 220 or 110. So, just give me 2 110v outputs and it's all good. And besides, the 110 output is only putting out 45 volts, so it's no good. The USBs are handy though.

Busted my grinder.
The plug under "converter" just busted my machine.. I double checked every step for fear this will happen. I'm grateful it's the cheaper and not the more expensive one.
