It is a boot knife right hand sheath. It is a LEFT handed sheath for outside belt or on pocket. It is a right hand inside belt. The belt clip IS NOT REVERSABLE for normal carry. If you reverse the belt clip, you could carry it upside down for left shoulder strap carry.

The belt clip will hold well on a leather belt or a cargos/chino pant. I would doubt if it would hold on to a jogging suit.
