I looked at several vendors before I bought. Competitors description for this item is hard to understand "frame was made by high quality car board material, high intensity, never get rust." What is that - cardboard? Really? I purchased this item because it was the only one I found that described the plate as metal. Arrived on time. Installed and plugged it in, BUT when you hit the power button the red indicator lights all turn on. This is not just the power light like you would expect, its ALL the lights. They only go OFF when you hit the button to CLOSE the curtain. Meaning 95% of the time when the curtain is up, plate visible, all the bright red lights are on. 5% of the time when the curtain is closed they go off. It's backwards. I have had other brands. Why would you want all the red lights on at rest? It's like having your alarm go off the whole time you're home, then turn off when you leave. Customer service is an obvious language barrier and they say it's supposed to work like that. I have had other brands and it worked just the opposite of this one. Disappointed.
