Amazing compressor.
This is a great compressor for the price. I purchase it for my first airbrush and have not been disappointed. See the tank allows for you to have a mostly quiet paint session w out being bothered too much. Even tho the decibel level is advertised as being low I find it a tad too loud for my taste. That being said it is quiet enough for me to use in my paint room w the door open and not have it heard in the living room when my wife is watching tv. After you get in the groove you won’t even notice the noise and it’ll be part of the background. It passes the wife test and I haven’t woken her up once during my late night paint sessions. I did have to go buy a quick release adapter for the hose but that’s whatever. A truly great buy for my airbrush painting.

What a HONEY!!!
I had been using a 3-gallon pancake compressor from Harbor Freight and, while it got the job done for my airbrushing uses, it was incredibly loud. No way to use it without everyone in the house hearing it. And it rattled my nerves every time it cycled on, causing me to screw up at least a couple of paint jobs unnecessarily. Then I saw a product review online of this Timbertech unit by one of my favorite YouTube modeling pros and figured the time was right to jump on a new compressor. Man, am I glad I did! This unit is WHISPER QUIET! It takes up less room than my old compressor and, with the reserve tank, it doesn’t cycle on very frequently, so I can airbrush for several minutes without hearing ANY noise from it at all! When it does cycle on it makes about as much noise as an average aquarium air pump, if not less. Very consistent airflow at every setting, with no significant reduction in pressure while spraying. The pressure regulator works very smoothly and I can adjust pressure settings and lock the regulator easily with one hand. And that’s important when you’re balancing parts and an airbrush. Now for the negative…. I had quite a time trying to locate the proper couplers so that I could use my favorite airbrush, a Paasche Talon ( that has a proprietary thread design) AND my other airbrushes, which use standard fittings. For the record, the fitting on the Timbertech pressure regulator ( where you screw on your air hose) is 1/8 NPTB male, and should work fine with standard air hoses. If you use the majority of airbrushes available you probably won’t need any special adaptors or couplers to use them. I firmly believe that, for the price of this unit, considering as it includes a cool-down fan and a pressure regulator, not to mention a very low decibel rating, this is a HONEY of a deal!

Great little compressor w/tank
Update: This unit worked for half a day. Then the PSI would fluctuate dramatically, then just stopped holding any pressure. Requested a replacement, Amazon has received the package a week ago. All I can find is “well email you when replacement is shipped”. Well I can get a new one overnighted by Amazon, so why am I not getting my replacement ‘overnighted’?!? My original compressor finally took a dump. Thought it was the regulator, replaced it with a better one, still not holding pressure. So, I dropped the dime on this with overnight delivery. Installed the better regulator and 0-30psi gauge, plugged it in and works great. It’s very quiet, doesn’t cycle as much as ones without the tank. I’ve heard there’s only 2-3 Chinese mfg of these, so they’re pretty much the same in this price range.

I recommend for home and small jobs
Perfect compressor for apartment. Sound: microwave on 900w, 0.9 cu equally to compresor sound. Quality: no plumbing tape, no air leak, standby overnight, no heats up. Performance: air brush good, pneumatic 18 gauge brad nails 2 inch long (material: wood) good, high speed handpiece (320000 rpm) ok, sand blaster (65psi min.)little touch up, metals, glass, plastic-ok, suv tires good. Esthetics: it looks like butiful toy

Excellent so far, but missing website info
No where in the description or details does it say it has a 1/8 BSP male nozzle and not the standard 1/4 BSP nozzle. So we ordered everything we thought we needed. Instead we cannot connect the Iwata hose to this. We can’t seem to find the actual adapter we need since usually you have to go the other way (1/4 bsp female to 1/8 bsp male). So we can’t use this and had to waste money buying a different hose. This is not easily compatible with the Iwata Medea hose. There is no OEM adaptor for this. But once we finally got the right hose and adapters, this was super quiet and worked with no problems for several hours. I plan to use it about 2 hours a night for the next two weeks and see how it does.

Works well!
Been using it for several months now! Fairly quiet! Seems to hold air well. My last one ran a lot. This one works well! I use it several days a week for hours at a time!

Compact, Affordable, and Awesome!
A nice upgrade! My previous compressor didn't have a tank built in, so it ran constantly. I live in a very humid environment so even with multiple moisture traps I was getting water output. This solves a lot of that! It's still pretty compact and quiet! I have no issues with it, especially for the price. One thing I will say, is make sure to remove the drain bolt after each use. It'll improve longevity. I also personally put some Sillicone lube on the drain bolt threads, but I'm sure there are better alternatives. The built in moisture trap also works very well. Very happy!

Good for the money. Very bad way to treat customers.
The next day I received that compressor it developed a leak right around the water trap transparent bulb. I emailed the seller Airgoo. They apologized but couldn’t replace the unit because they run out of stack. But they offered $20 for the air regulator replacement. It’s better than nothing. I tried to fix with epoxy, but this didn’t work at all and I ordered a replacement air regulator from the Amazon, and the tread sealer, of course all together cost me more than the $20. And I was not so happy about that. Then 2 weeks later I’ve got another email from the customer service of the Airgoo asking me if the compressor is working. I replied that it’s working, but I spent more than $20 on replacement parts. For my big and pleasant surprise they apologized and offered me a compressor with airbrush set without sending back my unit. Of course, I accepted such grateful offer. Who wouldn’t? Now back to the compressor. It’s very good. Since the replacement of the faulty air regulator/water trap it’s working well, holds the pressure, not getting hot, temperature of the motor and the compressor head got at about 40 C or 104 F after 30-40 on and off cycling. Noise level is relatively low. I measured the sound level with an app on my phone from the distance of about 40 cm/ 16 inches. The noise level went from ambient level of 38-40dB when compressor is off to 60-65db when it’s on. Not so loud. One more thing. No airbrush holder. I had to buy one. Easy to install, unscrew the big red nut, put the holder on, screw the red nut back. Update 07/21/2020. I received the promised set of compressor and airbrush. It was a dirty used airbrush. The compressor also seems to be used one. The handle is covered with some white substances like a dry paint, on the body of the compressor there are paint splashes. This is not the way you take care of your customer Airgoo Timbertech. Very disappointed. I was to generous given 5 stars at first. Sorry, but this is one star guys.
