Design uses a synthetic lining to help allow a scratch and mar-free carry of quality knives without fear of damage that normal Kydex sheaths can do. In addition, the lining allows for a quiet insertion and lightning fast draw. Sheath has excellent retention and is designed to be modular to allow for various carry positions based upon user preference or need. All holes are spaced to accommodate the included Kydex belt attachment as well as small and large Tek Lok and Molle Lok attachments as well as various other aftermarket attachments. This allows the user to mount the sheath in any of these ways: Traditional vertical (left or right side), horizontal (front or back, left or right), on a slight cant (cross draw, left or right) or even upside down. Holes also allow for lashing and other additions to turn it into a survival or rescue combo. The sheath has drainage hole for waterborne operations and is screwed together rather than riveted so it can be taken apart for cleaning and drying.
