First and Foremost, these socks are going to be the best bang for your buck. Fantastic Product and here’s why: 1) Extremely durable. This sock is going to last you awhile if you properly clean and wash socks. Remember to rinse before use. 2) Premium Quality. These Felt filter socks filter out all solids. I’m running only one sock on a 90 gal and the sock handles it with no problem. Overall, these are nice and thick. 3) Performance. Like any sock, these polish water. But do so without becoming easily clogged. Compared to other socks there is a noticeable difference. Buy these socks and see the difference in water quality when you switch to this brand. 4) Customer Service. Aquatic Experts are quick to respond and back their product. If you are on the fence choosing between products, just get these. This product will go beyond your expectations and will leave you satisfied just as I was. UPDATE: 10/10 would recommend to anyone! These filters have lasted longer than filters I have gotten from other aquarium suppliers, they clean the easiest, always turn back to white, and filter the aquarium water with ease. I use bleach to wash them which can cause wear and tear on the fabric, and I can honestly say these filters haven’t degraded one bit after multiple months of use and cleaning. Just ordered another set and will continue to do so as needed!—————————I use these on my saltwater tank and they work great! They are the shorter socks so take note that they will fill up with waste and debris a bit quicker opposed to a longer sock, but they still last a few days before having to change then which is fine. I ended up buying another package so I could have plenty extra without having to constantly wash socks. To clean them i put them in a 5 gallon bucket with hot water, bleach, and a small pump for a few hours. Rinse and soak in some de-chlorinator and they are ready to reuse.

We were changing our sock about every 2 to 3 days; it wasn't always dirty but filling up. Switched to this sock and we can actually see the sock change color as it traps contaminants in the tank. The sock has never filled up as the other had and after two weeks we decided to replace with a fresh one anyhow; probably could have gone three weeks honestly (We bought the eight pack and pre cycled them in the washer as suggested in the instructions). The protein skimmer seems to work more efficiently, the tank glass has less attached debris between cleanings. We are very satisfied with this product and recommend anyone to at least try it. We have a 72 gal reef and fish tank with a refugium and can definitely see the difference that a quality sock can make. Never would have thought that this would make such an improvement in the quality of the tank environment, but it does. We probably shouldn't say, but this sock is so superior that we don't see ourselves having to purchase anymore for quite a while. A definitely must have for the Aquarius.

Best filters socks. I’ve used many different types of filter socks brands. By far these AquaticExperts filters have been the best. 👍🏻 will continue to buy and use filters from AquaticExperts. I highly recommend this company.

Great product. Need to be changed often. But good for budget socks

I purchased two of these for my ref over six months ago. I went back and got 10 more. I change mine out every three days and I have the cleanest water your can imagine. All 12 have been washed six or seven times and they are holding up well. I will return for more when I see these wearing out.

Construction isn’t very good, one has already pulled away from the plastic ring after first use. Material is very thick, clogs easily for the good or bad your call. I’ll use them as a backup

These socks are excellent quality, at least 50% thicker than the Ehopps equivalents. I'll certainly try machine-washing these as they suggest. Wouldn't consider doing that with the Ehopps.
