I was excited when it arrived... Especially when other parents were sending their seats in garbage bags. It was one of the least expensive items on this trip. Unfortunately, my sister had to resew it, since most of the seams ripped in the first trip. When I picked it up on our return flight, the shoulder strap was severed, though my sister's threads held good.The case was equally poor quality. The zipper tore off and the seams ripped when I repackaged the bag.

I purchased this for a booster to check on United. I put the booster in a contractor's bag (which I highly recommend) and then covered the contractor's bag with this bright orange bag. It did wonderfully on the first leg of the trip, a bit dirty on the outside but all in tact. On the way home we added another booster to the bag, for a total of two boosters. Both were each wrapped in their own contractor's bag and I'm so glad because at our home destination there was a small tear in the orange bag. I think I will tape it up with gorilla tape or just by a new one since they are fairly inexpensive. It was great to spot the bright orange bag on the baggage carousel. The tear in the bag is why I'm giving it only 4 stars instead of 5. It served it's purpose quite well.

I would have given this product 5 stars for the sheer convenience of it. On the first flight it was excellent. Was raining and kept the seat dry and clean. Easily fits larger car seats.Very possible that the loss of star #5 is really due to the airline. On the second flight one of the seams ripped. However, the airline also seriously bent a wheel on my relatively new stroller during that flight. Given the stroller damage, I think the travel bag fared very well!Comes with its own storage bag that it is very easy to fold back into and put away for next time.

The bag is more durable than the plastic bags that airlines sometime provide free, & others charge for. The large black shoulder carry straps was ripped away on our first flight. We had 1 layover. So it was handled more than a direct flight. Instead or re-attach it, I will probably just remove the attachment from the second side. The should strap is huge and I'm guessing it is likely to be damaged during any flight. The smaller hand carry straps are enough for us.

Bought 2 for a cross country trip. On one of them, the stitching where the strap attached to the bag came undone just carrying it from the car to the check in counter. Long story short, after a round trip flight, one bag had become ripped in several places, the straps tore off and some of the seems split. The second bag had no rips or stitching problems at all.Over all, both bags protected the car seats, which was the primary reason for the purchase. In summary it's a crap shoot if you get a quality bag or not.

I gave it 5 stars because it did the job, I've travel several times with these, protected my car seat, even where strong enough. last trip got a little rip, but I repaired it... and still have them. It has being a few years.

I bought this and it didn't even survive it's first airplane trip. When I got to my destination, it had one large tear in it that was nearly a foot long and about four other small tears. As if that wasn't bad enough, the black strap broke while carrying it to our car. This item is useless and does not serve it's purpose in any way.

If I could give no stars I would. We used this one time for my sons car seat. We checked the bag, when we arrived at our destination my husband retrieved it from the baggage carousel. Then when we began to walk through the airport he lifted the bag to use the shoulder strap and it completely ripped off. It's now in the garbage, you get what you pay for.

Poor material, it got broken the first time I used it. Total waste of money.
