I have used the ones with droppers that I don't like. I have used thick ones that limit how many layers of other things you can use. This one is a light emulsion that soaks in the skin perfectly. My skin has smoothed out so much since I started using this and their retinal serum. My little bumps have diminished. I am so happy I found this affordable brand. And it was on sale! I will say, I think I will go through it much faster than the retinal and that disappoints me. Edit: I sadly had to stop using this due to me out of nowhere developing symptoms of rosecea and apparently rosacea tolerates serums with low levels L. Ascorbic acid the best (although EVERY person is different. Niacinamide is supposed to be great for rosecea but I can't tolerate the ordinary's.). I do agree with other reviews that this was great for the price point so if you can't afford skin ceuticals like most of us, this was great while I was able to use it. It is so hard to balance one you like that has great texture and results. Not to mention affordability!
