Naturium Vitamin C Complex Face Serum, Anti-Aging Facial Treatment with Hyaluronic Acid & Vitamin E, 1 oz

I am very picky when it comes to vitamin c. I have used the ones with droppers that I don't like. I have used thick ones that limit how many layers of other things you can use. This one is a light emulsion that soaks in the skin perfectly. My skin has smoothed out so much since I started using this and their retinal serum. My little bumps have diminished. I am so happy I found this affordable brand. And it was on sale! I will say, I think I will go through it much faster than the retinal and that disappoints me.Edit: I sadly had to stop using this due to me out of nowhere developing symptoms of rosecea and apparently rosacea tolerates serums with low levels L. Ascorbic acid the best (although EVERY person is different. Niacinamide is supposed to be great for rosecea but I can't tolerate the ordinary's.). I do agree with other reviews that this was great for the price point so if you can't afford skin ceuticals like most of us, this was great while I was able to use it. It is so hard to balance one you like that has great texture and results. Not to mention affordability! I still recommend for anyone on a budget and anyone who doesn't have skin issues like me.

I've been using this Vitamin C serum, and it’s quickly become a favorite in my skincare routine. The texture is smooth and absorbs instantly. Unlike other thick serums I've tried in the past, this does not leave a sticky residue, which is perfect for layering with other products. It’s lightweight enough for daily use, even under makeup, and doesn’t clog pores. The scent is light and fresh—not overpowering at all, just enough to feel uplifting. My skin type: normal, slightly dehydratedPROS:*SLOW TO OXIDIZE*From a formula standpoint, I really love this vitamin c serum. People have been commenting on the color - it's NOT oxidized, that's the color of all the ingredients together. The vitamin c itself is encapsulated in gold, so it'll be much slower to oxidize than most vitamin c serums. The actual ascorbic acid doesn't get exposed to oxygen (air) until you apply it to your face and rub it around, which breaks the encapsulation. Will it be perfect? No, I'm sure there's a small amount of oxidization that'll happen naturally over time. But, I've had my bottle for several months and I can still see it's effectiveness on my skin. For the price, this bottle will last you much longer than other brands that'll lose efficacy much faster, and need to be replaced.*FEELS GOOD*It's a slightly oily texture, although if you have damp skin (like from a toner or other serum) it absorbs into the skin beautifully. I usually pat it on gently with fingertips, then massage it in for a few seconds. I do not have oily skin naturally, so I can't say how it'd feel on very oily or acne prone skin. But, it does not leave a shine or slippery feeling to the face. It does feel hydrating and leave my skin plump before I apply moisturizer.*EFFECTIVE*I've been using it for a few months and have absolutely noticed an improvement in some hyperpigmentation I have. In my opinion, this product REALLY works if you pair it with azelaic acid in the morning. I started doing that recently and it really did great things for my skin.CONS:*THE DROPPER SYSTEM*It's not the worst thing in the world, but the dropper is quite long and you sometimes have to try a few times to get enough product in it to use. I think this could be more effective with a pump, but that may not work with the formula so I'm not sure. Maybe making the bottle a bit wider and not as tall would be more effective.

Does not irritate my skin and fades dark spots

Sometimes, I think there should be CAs all over the country (Cosmetics Anonymous). I am a sucker for these "testimonials" that indicate the products will solve every problem you have in the world. Then I purchased this! This product has done more for my skin than anything I've ever used. I'm 76 years old and have inside down smile lines, creases across my forehead and the long lines that go from my nose down to either side of my mouth. When I smile I also have a crease that goes horizontally under my nose. I have just started the second container of Naturium Vitamin C Complex and all those things are not gone...but they have improved unbelievablely. Also, the skin on my arms is crapy and very fragile. Any small bump can give me what looks to be a blood blister. I have used moisturizer, which make the crapy and it would improvement them for an hour or two. I have to say, my arms look like I'm 60, not 76!Do the wrinkles return? Yes...But, I can use it at 6:00 in the evening and it still looks pretty good the next morning. And, the best part, I am looking at my arms right now (I haven't applied it for a couple of days--I am writing this on Christmas eve....I'm been busy. However, my arms look better that they did when I was 65. THAT is a product I can get behind. So, if you're debating whether to buy this, because under your bathroom vanity is enough product to open an Ulta, do take a chance on this. I will say that this is the first product for which I have left a positive review. Oh! one of the most amazing benefits--I have a very visible blood vessel on the outer edge of my right eyelid. I use this and the vein disappears. I also have a lot of raised veins on the back of my hands. They aren't totally gone, but they are soooo much better. This product has made me feel so much more self-confident when going out (no, not to Walmart...to the five corporate parties we attended this year. When we go to these parties we're the "elders" that people alway greet and tell us how "good" we look. I am looking at people that could be my children. This year, I had several women tell me (sincerely) that I looked amazing...a couple even whispered, "Did you have some "work" done". If so, I want to know who it was..." So, try it...you'll like it!"
