Recharges with a USB cord. Previously read an article recommending NiteRider Lumina headlights for bicycling which is the reason we purchased this brand. We have used these multiple times on organized night bicycle rides and they really light up the pavement. You choose high, medium, low,or flashing beam. Beam strength dictates how long the light will go before needing to be recharged. When not using on our bikes, we use them as high-quality flashlights. Ordered mine from Bikewagon on Amazon, and they have great customer service and on-time delivery. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice and bright, but the mounting bracket is not the one pictured *by J***V on April 12, 2016* I bought this to replace my NiteRider Lumina 250, because the battery just wasn't lasting as long as I needed anymore, and it had otherwise performed well.This light is noticeably brighter than the 250, and also a little heftier. The flash mode is slower, about twice per second, rather than the seizure-inducing strobe of the 250.Overall, I feel like the _light_ is a good value at the $50-ish price point.But the mounting hardware is *not* what you see in the picture. I have that mount - it is very secure and fits on my very thick handlebars. The mount that I received has a rubber strap and a hook that, as tight as I'm able to get it, still causes the light angle to slide downward as I'm riding.:: UPDATE - 1 Year Later ::The unit no longer charges. I've used it 3x/week for one year. And, like the last Nite Rider Lumina I had, the charging circuitry is burned out.I have only ever charged it on a low-power charger (1A@5V).I'm starting to wonder - why pay more for "quality" if it only lasts a year anyway? ### ⭐ a cheap toy compared to the original NR 350 *by V***N on May 16, 2016* My old 350 died so I ordered this only to find it is a smaller one. How can they both be a "Niterider 350" when this one is 2/3 the size of my other 350? But what frustrated me is there is no charger - wall adapter type - I have to take it to a computer to charge! I use to plug in the charger where I park my bike but the old NR 350 charger will not fit into this "new" 350. Huh? Why would you do that Niterider? OH! USB cables are 10 for a penny...I guess...saves Niterider some money...?OK, so can't charge it without bringing it inside to my desktop computer. But the handlebar mount is a problem, too. The photo looks like it has a large knob underneath to tighten a screw that clamps it on. NOPE! The old one for my NR 350 had a nice ratcheting thing that clamped when I pressed it together. Works great. No this "new"model.The only way to hold it on is with a rubber strap with holes you slip over a hook -- like a belt to hold up your pants. But the top part blocks access...finally I found I could twist it out of the way with a lot of force. Then stretch the rubber "belt" over the hook. My hands have some problems so it was very difficult to do. Instead I used the old NR 350 handlebar mount.This is a cheap toy compared to the original NR 350 so I sent it back for a refund.
