This oil had a very fresh taste and the green color showed it still had alot of the nutrients (polyphenols) ..Expeller pressed oils are the best oils to consume and also to apply topically. Cold pressed oils retain the nutritional properties and health benefits that would otherwise be damaged by being exposed to heat. They also contain valuable bio-active substances that are not present in refined oils.I compared the prices of refined, heat processed oils to this one and this gallon size is even cheaper!I chose avocado oil as it has no aftertaste and I can put it on anything, sandwiches, pasta, soup, my coffee, chili and even ice cream! Avocado oil has many benefits, similarly to olive oil, in that it lubricates arteries and can delay/help prevent artery disease, but it is important for me to take it regularly to get these benefits and this miracle oil (with no aftertaste) allows me to do that. With olive oil it was a chore, with this...a joyI checked the other products and this has the best value for the pricePerfectly described and advertised. I am big into the Keto diet way of life. Avacado oil is a staple in my diet for the Keto Chow shakes I eat. This is best oil to me for my needs. The oil does not overpower the taste of my shakes and it seems to be a quality oil for a great price. This is my third jug, I am so pleased with the oil that I have it on auto order every 60 days.

We switched to avocado oil from the canola vegetable corn oils due to better healthy ingredients and good flavor. This one is one of the best values for avocado oil on Amazon!

First, I combine equal amounts of avocado oil and butter as the "butter" when I make popcorn. The combination of healthy avocado oil with the saturated fat of DELICIOUS butter extends a fabulous buttery taste on my popcorn. The butter flavors transfers right through the healthy avocado oil. After discovering this trick, I started doing the same thing in my cooking. I half the recipe's butter and use avocado oil for the second half. Great for sauteing, pan frying, salad dressings, etc. Light and healthy without the heavy taste of olive oil. I use it sooooo much that I was thrilled to find it in large quantities on Amazon. Delicious oil.

Well worth the price. Imagine how many avocados you need to make that.

I looked for a way to contact the seller but could not find a way so i am writing a review. Purchased the product in mid Sept. Had an odd smell but didn't think too much about it as the expiration date was fine. Used the oil to make a cream i sell in my business. Within 2 months it had a bad smell and the cream got moldy. Avocado oil has a stable shelf life. I have used other avocado oils and NEVER had this happen. Now i am forced to throw out all my product made with that inferior oil. Lost not only the cost of the oil but all ingredients used. My advise is to buy with caution. I will never purchase this oil again.

This brand has great reviews as being truthfully avocado oil and not a fake. My issue was the smell, kinda like stale oil, and the taste. I have been using avocado oil in baking for a year and this brand has a bad taste when used in sweet baked items unfortunately.
