Value & great support in one!
Great value for the money. My 85 lb Great Pyranese tore her left and right cruciates (ACL) at the same time. Needed to find something with the right support and thickness to assist her in walking while waiting for surgery. These were by far the best support system for her. Fit really well. She didn't bother them unless I put them on a little too loose. Want to make sure they're good and snug. Plenty of velco to stretch and make it the right fit.

Velcro wore out at 2 months
Initially the hock supports were awesome. They really helped my dog stand and walk. I would put them on her in the morning, then remove them at bedtime. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before they stopped working. I had several problems with the hock brace/supports:(1) I ordered four smalls in total and received four mediums. I bought two smalls in October 2021, but received two mediums. I decided to use them on my dog and they really helped. But, I wanted to see if the smalls would be a better size for her. So, in November 2021, I ordered two more smalls and again received two mediums.(2) I contacted Labra via email with my Amazon order information and photos of the items that were the wrong size, but instead of sending me the correct size, they said I would have to return them to Amazon and then order a new set from Labra directly to get the correct size.(3) Velcro stops sticking at the two month mark. Just when I was getting ready to fill out a return to Amazon, the Velcro on the first set I ordered stopped sticking to the fabric. Basically, after 2 months, the Velcro stretches' and no longer grasps the material. At first, the Velcro is awesome, but then stops working all together. Well, now it's 2 months after I received the second set, and now the Velcro on the second set has stopped grasping the material.(4) When the Velcro begins to loosen, the hock support slides down the leg when the dog gets up from laying down. I have to readjust the position of the support once my dog stands up. Once the Velcro stops sticking, these are worthless.(5) The metal inside the hock support does not go all the way into the edge stitching. If you look at the photos in the add, you can see where it ends. After the dog is wearing the support for a while, the end of that spring ends up poking into the dogs leg. If the spring was sewn into the ribbing at the edge, it would keep the end of the metal from poking through the neoprene type of material. It became obvious, once I put the hock supports on my dog, that she really needs them to be able to get around. The medium sizes fit my dog, there was no overlap or space between the material, but I wanted to see if the small would be even more snug and supportive or if it would be way too tight. But, now that I have had all four fail at the two month mark, it seems I would only expect the small size to share the same defects previously mentioned in the medium size. I will be starting a return process.

Needs a design tweak
Wellmade, decent fit. Good price. When they stay put, they give our dog some support. A loop at the top strap would help keep it from slipping off. Otherwise, good idea

Wouldn't recommend. Wouldn't stay on.
The velcro is too stretchy/soft so it kept sliding off. Maxed out the stretch to help it stay on, but then straps dug into skin. Made sure the neoprene overlapped to prevent that, but managed to come undone.Contacted seller, he suggested an ace bandage underneath. The ace bandage wouldn't stay on. So I tried vet wrap. That worked the best! But dog didn't like All the bandage on him.Bought different brand, short Neo Ally and he isn't bothered by it at all, and nice snug fit!

No help at all and overpriced
They didn’t seem to help at all. And my dog was able to take them off . I bought them according to the size guide, birthday seem to be too small.

The Hock Braces Work!!!!!
1) I am a real customer that had never heard of Labra before my dog became unsteady on his feet.2) I had No Confidence that these would work or that my Big Guy would keep them on, just thought it was worth a shot, to help him be more stable on the stairs & not "wipe out" when he's turning around or playing.3) THEY WORK! & HE LIKES THEM!My Big Guy is a 12yr old Mastiff Mix who isn't as active as he used to be but still LOVES to play, chase the ball or keep away. At his healthiest 120-125lbs but since mobility issues abt 100-ish lbs. (Lg Size was Just right) He sometimes forgets his age and that he has arthritis all over, not to mention weakness in the hips. So at times he could be wobbly. Once he had taken 4 steps with 1 brace on... He IMMEDIATELY began to step with more confidence. As if to say "WHAT DA !??? Hey, This thing works". Once he had on both braces, he went Nuts... He RAN up the stairs, I was so afraid that he would hurt himself, sprinting and jumping - like he had "liquid courage". He tuckered himself out and paid for all the excited activity later.Anyway, He does not wear them all of the time, after 3 days we let him breathe and he continued walking well. We put them back on periodically & he has improved a great deal, hasn't worn them for over a week now & no crashes at the bottom of the stairs. His improvement is also attributed to his joint meds Cosequin, Turmeric & switching him to senior dog food.* Note: READ product description CAREFULLY ; I Failed at that. I had read reviews & watched videos on so many brands that I thought these were sold as a pair like the rest but they are sold individually. I contacted the seller (Who is TOTALLY AWESOME, PROFESSIONAL & REALLY CARES ABOUT OUR PETS!) he worked with me to make it a pair.I RECOMMEND! WOULD BUY AGAIN! & Will keep Labra in mind for whatever my dogs need next! Thanks Noah! Sorry for the delay.

Works exactly as advertised
Works exactly as advertised. My 12 lbs Lassa Poo dog recently tore her ACL and was incapable of putting any weight on her hind leg. The small sized brace fit perfectly and was clearly not bothering her. It has stiffeners on the sides and is made from soft material. Now my dog is able to put weight on her affected leg and is much more mobile. We keep the brace on all day and remove it at night. Very well designed product. Highly recommended.

No cumple con la función qué necesitaba
No otorga el soporte correcto, al tener varilla metálica creía que sería de más ayuda pero es un soporte demasiado suave, quizás para una lesión leve o solo como preventivo.

Garbage
I wouldn’t even bother with larger dogs, basically a sleeve and is useless
