Good taste- not vinegary or too cabbagy. Well filled jar securely packed. Love that it's live unpasteurised and local business to me.Great for gut and general health.Stays fresh in the jar for weeks.Good value for the quality

Delicious but don’t open right away.
This is the best, just delicious, but let the jar settle for maybe a day before opening. It’s so bio active that it fizzes like champagne. I was Impatient and opened the jar right away and lost all the juice 😢 It’s so good that I just ate it out of the jar with a fork, it was gone in three days.

Not sure if it is a proper sauerkraut
It is a disappointing product. Being Eastern European, sauerkraut was a staple food at my home with my mum and aunts making (and sharing) significant amounts of their own raw organic sauerkraut every year and then using it throughout the whole year for salads or other traditional Eastern European delicacies. The taste of this sauerkraut is different to the home- made one and it tastes as if it has some vinegar added. The list of ingredients does not specify it but the taste definitely is not like when you make sauerkraut using cabbage and salt only. The small jar is very pricey too and definitely not worth what you are paying for. For these two reasons I will never buy it again and I would not recommend it to anyone as a real sauerkraut. Having said that some people who never tasted real raw home-made sauerkraut may like it.
