9/7/20This is amended review based on communication with the seller, who definitely deserves the highest rating for their service. After advising of the issue the seller offered a free replacement case that was sent promptly. When the replacement exhibited more or less the same issue (maybe it had something to do with the shape of my laptop, who knows?), we further discussed options with the seller and agreed that I could try to modify the case by removing the bulging strip (last photo). That seems to work for now though I offered the seller few other suggestions that may be included in the design. Once again, this seller’s responsiveness and service quality should set a great example on how to similar issues must be handled and it’s reflected in my rating of this purchase.—————————-8/29/20Just received it. Nice look and soft leather-like feel. Should be good for traveling though I don't travel much and ordered it to protect against occasional scratches. Didn't use long enough to rate durability. As described in other reviews, it was a bit challenging to insert the screen into corner holders but I managed. The frustrating part was that the cover didn't fully close. A close look showed that the strip above the track pad popped up and pressed against the screen as shown in the photos. I really like the case and trying to straighten the strip so that it wouldn't press on the screen an rub against it. If not successful, then regretfully I'll have to return it to prevent a $1,300 laptop from being ruined by a $30 case.

High end look and feel. Has a soft lining inside to prevent scratches. Beats a hard case that may or may not break your screen when you take it off and traps dust. Perfect fitment on my m1 MacBook Air. Corner protection. Keeps it from closing all the way which keeps the keyboard from touching the screen when closed. (if you’ve had a MacBook Pro you’ve probably gotten the permanent keyboard marks on your screen and know what I’m talking about) I have no complaints and especially for the price.

I love this case and I especially like how durable it looks. I never liked the cheap plastic cases on my MacBook Air because they constantly crack and I feel like I’m wasting my money. This fits perfectly and looks like a padfolio when it’s closed. I also like that it’s slightly more waterproof than the traditional case when it’s closed because there are less cracks for water to get in. The only con is that there is some small gapping near the trackpad but that doesn’t bother me much.

Great laptop cover. sleek, durable and the design is perfect. I carry my laptop around like it a tablet. Good spaces for pens and papers when on the go. Only thing is some peeling starts after 5 months of usage more on the bottom edges. Overall great product.

C’est la deuxième housse que je teste sur Amazon, la première n’ayant pas été concluante. Je l’utilise depuis mon achat en juin 2024. Après plusieurs mois de transports réguliers, elle est toujours impeccable : aucune trace d’usure, ni déchirure, ni fragilité apparente.Elle remplit parfaitement sa fonction de protection et donne une vraie impression de solidité. Je suis absolument ravie de cet achat, et je la recommande sans hésiter à ceux qui cherchent une housse durable et fiable pour leur ordinateur.

Great protected packaging. Fit was perfect. Feels good, looks good I went for brown. Screen goes to sleep and it isn’t slippery like the snap on plastic covers. A little more bulk and weight but that’s a given. Stitching was truly impeccable. Install was easy the last part on a top corner was tight going on but you’re paying for an exact fit and that’s what you get. Once on opening and closing there’s no binding opening the lid and after a few trips in my computer bag it has Mildred to the MacBook even better.Delivery was on time to the day but I’m sure it would have been sooner without blockades etc at the time.

Wichtiges vorab:- Trotz der Hülle lässt sich das Macbook problemlos zuklappen und es in den Ruhestand bringen.- Auf dem Produktbild nicht zu sehen aber vorhanden: Ein Verschlussband! Da trägt man das Macbook mit einem sicheren Gefühl durch die Gegend.Da ich ein großer Fan von Echtleder bin, hatte ich Sorge, ob mir das Produkt aus PU-Leder auch gefallen würde.Ich muss sagen, dass ich sehr positiv überrascht bin. Nicht unwichtig: Das PU Leder stinkt nicht.Das PU-Leder fühlt sich relativ hochwertig an (mit Vorbehalt, da ich nichts zu Langlebigkeit sagen kann).Sehr gut gefällt es mir, dass große Flächen links und rechts von dem Trackpad geschützt sind.Sehr gut gefällt es mir auch, dass die Hülle ein Fach hat, in das man ein paar wichtige Notizen oder sonstiges reinstecken kann.Die Hülle lässt sich, wie hier oft beschrieben, nicht so einfach anbringen, jedoch war es möglich. Dafür braucht man etwas feinmotorisches Geschick.Sehr wichtig und gut finde ich, dass das Display keine chronische Abdrücke bekommen würde. Das hatte ich mal bei einem Tablet. Auf Dauer entstand am Display einen optischen Schaden, verursacht durch den Verschluss der Hülle. Bei der Hülle kann das nicht passieren, da das Display keine punktuellen Druckstellen bekommt. Sowas passiert, wenn sich eine Hülle nahezu komplett spaltenlos schließen lässt, da keine Überlappungen vorhanden sind.Wichtig: Trotz der oft kritisierten Bewertungen, lässt sich das Macbook problemlos durch Zuklappen in den Ruhestand bringen. Ich habe dazu ein Video gedreht.Ich kann jedem die Hülle empfehlen.Schön fände ich es jedoch, wenn sie aus Echtleder gewesen wäre.Aber dazu muss ich natürlich auch sagen, dass ein PU-Lederprodukt viel pflegeleichter ist als ein Echtlederprodukt, das nach einer gewissen Zeit schnell fleckig und eklig wirkt.Ich bin jedoch sehr froh, eine Macbookhülle gefunden zu haben, die die Kanten nicht kaputt macht beim An- und Abbringen, was bei klassischen Hartschalenhüllen der Fall ist und von Preis her bezahlbar ist.
