National Geographic maps are great. The paper is made specifically for maps, being water resistant and very easy to fold.

Great map with hiking trails. Came in really handy for a recent trip. Followed marked trails in the map. Won’t leave home without it.

Since most of St. John island is the national park, this map also functions well as a map of the entire island.

I'm a map guy but even for me Trails Illustrated maps have too much information printed on them. They can appear cluttered. The color coding is non-obvious. The maps require serious study before serious use. That said, if you want a highly detailed map printed on robust, waterproof material these are the maps for you.

This was a great detailed map of ST. John, USVI and the national park. Nowadays, everyone depends on electronics, but I really enjoyed being able to lay out this map while on vacation and planning our various beach trips. If you lose your cell coverage, this map still works... imagine that!!! It was very accurate!

If you are going to St John you need this map. Very detailed map of the trails and roads in St. John. It was very accurate and permits one to figure out exactly where one is. It is a bit weak on historical ruins which are all over the island.

During our vacation to St. John we had other maps that were better for roads but this was always our go to map when we were hiking
