Mack Weldon Men's Boxer Brief Underwear XXL Blue Night

Last year I would have said Mack Weldon was the best underwear. However after my latest purchase the quality and workmanship has deteriorated. I even contacted the company and all I got was a "we'll let production know". Well guess what at the price of these shorts, there is no way I would gamble with this company and not even get a refund.The material has been changed and the cut has been changed. This was not a one off defect product was a multiple piece order. No thanks Mack, there's other brands that haven't sold out their QC department to make more money.

I have a drawer full of mack weldon. The sizes are exact, don't order too small, they will be uncomfortable. It seems though they have changed. For the early orders I made a couple years ago the quality was amazing, the comfort was awesome. Everything fit perfect. The silver line was amazing. I bought their loungewear, long underwear, just about every piece of clothing they make. But I have noticed over the past year that the quality seems to be going down. The last pair of long underwear a purchased had the fly stitched very unusually, you could not even make use of it. That was very disappointing because that is one thing I had loved about their underwear was how usable the fly was compared to other brands. I bought a second pair of long underwear thinking I got a bad pair, but it was the same. Then last time I ordered silver, it seemed like material had changed, it was not as soft and maybe it is my imagination, but it does not seem to have the same cooling effect I got from my earlier silver purchases. My one greatest long term disappointment is I thought with the price point their products might hold up longer than their cheaper (Hanes, etc) competitors, but in the end they wear out about the same right. After about a year, they stop feeling so soft, by two years its about time to replace them. (I have wore almost nothing but Mack Weldon for three years now)So I have downgraded from five star to four because of what seems to be their lowering quality. If they were so expensive I would go easier on them. But with what these things cost, they should be perfect. For what you pay for one pair from them, you could get ten pairs from Hanes. So its fair to expect 10 times the quality, comfort, etc.

Tried branching out into "expensive" underwear a few months ago, and this was first on my list. Now one of my favorite articles of clothing. I absolutely love the fit and the feel. About 10-15 washes in and everything works fine.Some notes on context - I'm a "man of substance" (ok...I'm 220+ pounds in all the wrong places), and the waistband takes it in stride. I also travel a lot, and the crotch doesn't ride up on plane rides or long car rides (those of you who know this particular level of discomfort will sympathize).Price tag is a bit high, but so far it has been worth every penny.

Just like every bargain brand, the legs do not Stay-put and do riding up.The elastic is fine the legs are just too short. The legs are half the length shown on the models. I purchased 6 pair of boxer briefs, at a very high price, wore all 6, washed all 6 and wore them againto give this over priced product a chance.There should be a long leg version that passes lower than the fat part of thigh muscles as shown on the models pictured. Once again this is false advertizing for an overpriced product that I am will topay for if it did what it is advertized to do. Every other good feature about this product goes out the window if every time I stand up I need to pull my underwear legs down like a 10 year old pullingwedgies.And why can't I leave a review on your web site? I feel all the 5 star reviews on the web site are plants.

I bought three pairs (different styles) of the Mack Weldon underwear I tried the AirKnit first. They weren't any more comfortable that Jockey brand. I went for my constitutional (4 mile walk) and the small amount of perspiration caused the color to leach out of the brief onto my T-shirt. I rinsed them off in the sink, and the charcoal color poured out. My wife operates a gonzo laundry, everything goes in together (light, dark, delicate, etc.) It would have been a disaster had these gone into our laundry.How can they claim this is a premium product when they can't get the basics (colorfast) right?

Feels great, but expensive!

Excellent fit, well made, very high quality. Ordered a size larger than usual and extremely happy with them. Only wish they were a little less expensive.

From reading prior reviews, I knew that they are sized a bit smaller than normal, so I ordered a little larger. Love the fit and the feel. Even ordered some more pairs even though I've never paid this much for briefs before!
