Well, it's not the best case but it's not the worst either. It's not an exact fit for the S5 like a Spigen case for example. Yes it fits it but not a perfect tight fit. The rubber part of the case has soft and kind of loose edges on the side and it's especially soft on the bottom part where the USB cable goes in. Then when you put the plastic part on you'll have to struggle a bit to make it fit perfectly or close especially on the sides. One thing, it would sometimes keep pressing on the volume button (the lower part of it), which will keep decreasing my phone volume to zero without me even noticing. That always made me mad.Overall, if you spend a couple of minutes making sure it covers the phone properly it's not bad and I think it does offer a good protection for the phone with those 4 thick rubbery corners and raised edges that will protect the phone better if it falls screen facing down. So yeah, for the money it's not bad. Just make sure it doesn't push down on the volume key or you're going to keep missing some calls.

This case is by far the sturdiest I have had. Cannot think of how many times I have dropped my phone. Never has been damaged thou. Today after a streanous cardio session I haphazardly stepped off the eliptical machine and dropped (but it was more like a throw) my phone on the ground. A gal was walking in and saw it all happen too. I showed her how good this case works. We laughed. She has a similar case for her iPhone but hers doesn't have a prominent "front protective covering" like this case does so hers isn't as protected from "screen face plants" like mine is.

This case would be nice, but the hard shell won't clamp onto the soft cover very well. It' keeps slowly peeling off as if the soft case is too big and it can't quite grip all the way around. at least twice I've noticed the hard shell just coming loose like a snake squeezing slowly out of an old skin. When I try to shove it back on, the soft case underneath is buckled and warps like it's just too much for the hard shell to hold it all in. I finally just took the hard case off and set it aside, so now I have a really nice soft squishy silicon shell for the most part. All the holes and buttons are in the right place,and the color is beautiful the raised corners keeps the screen from being scratched if it's face down. So, tis all as advertised, I just have to find a way to keep the hard shell from popping off if I want to use the whole thing.

I ordered the gray/turquoise and the color is adorable. Looks exactly like the picture. The silicone is a little flimsy/cheap feeling but it does hug the phone pretty nicely and fits well. I had a little trouble getting the hard plastic case to line up properly over the silicone and had to mess around with it a bit to get it to fit but once the cover is on it looks great and feels good while holding it. Not nearly as bulky as my old otterbox, which I love. However, I'm not sure how well this will protect my phone if it were to fall on the ground. I am not particularly rough on my phone but I have dropped it a few times in the past and never really worried about my phone being damaged when my otterbox was on. With this new cover I find myself being a LOT more careful and conscious about not dropping it because I just don't think this cover will do any good against protecting it from a fall. That said, for the cost it's an attractive looking cover and with any luck it will keep my phone protected for the next 4 months until I can upgrade. If I do happen to drop my phone in the meantime and my phone doesn't get damaged I'll be sure to come back and modify my rating. Until then, I'm giving it 3 stars based on looks alone. Just a heads up, someone commented that this case comes with a screen protector and stylus but mine only included the phone cover that was pictured so if you're ordering this cover over a different one in hopes that those items are included, don't hold your breath (btw, I'm completely fine with the fact that those items weren't included since it doesn't mention them being included in the product description. I'm just clarifying for others in case they read the other comments that say it does).

Really nice case! The buttons feels nice and the case feels nice and sturdy. Not a bad case to get used to and it feels like it can last more than a year! And you can put stickers on ittt, i was worried about this personally bc i usually like personalizing my phone myself, but stickers go nicely on it. Not a scratch on it on arrival, comes sealed in the company bag, like really, fresh out of the thing its made in10/10

When I received my Samsung Galaxy s5, I ditched the Otterbox phone case due to constant overheating. I chose this one because it appeared thin with rubber grips and in a color I liked, Turquoise/Grey. The only two issues I have with the case is that the back is a hard plastic and not a rubber grip like the edges on it. This means when you have the phone on a flat surface it will more easily move around. To prevent this, you must turn the phone face side down. My one other issue with this case is that the rubber area at the bottom can be a nuisance for those who use their fingers to unlock their phones. Other than that, the case is super easy to apply to the phone and holds up well. I have only dropped my phone a few times and from a height of about 4 to 5 feet with no injuries to the phone thanks to this case. If you are worried about the screen portion of the phone, then you should by a screen protector as this case does not provide one.

This turned out to be a decent case. I've had it for over a year and I think I paid about $6 for it. I've dropped my phone several times and it saved my phone from damage every time. On a day to day basis, the biggest "trouble" with this case is that the rubber would sometimes slip out of proper alignment from the plastic snap on portion. I would have to occasionally pop it apart and realign things. I keep the phone in my back pocket and the friction from putting it in and out finally put too much stress on the rubber and it ripped in one corner. I plan on ordering another case just like it since it has been an affordable and protective case.
