Good Performance . . . The Keyboard? meeh!
This was a purchased as a replacement for a five-year-old Toshiba Qosmio X505 on which the graphics card is going bad. Although the Qosmio is marketed as a "Gaming Laptop", I use the high performance for work and it doesn't disappoint me. The four stars (not five) is the result of the fact that I find I really have to POUND the keys on the keyboard or the characters don't show. This wasn't the case with it's predecessor . . . Toshiba, ANY THOUGHTS?

Overheating issue! Don't buy
I bought this computer and only had it for about 2 months and the motherboard broke from overheating. I called tech support for Toshiba and they told me to call Trisec Computer Services. I called Trisec Computer Services and they actually told me that these computers are awful because they will overheat and break all the time. They told me that I have to buy a cooling pad for my computer and when I play games I have to keep the graphics low so the computer doesn't overheat. Even when I do all that, my computer still gets pretty hot, so I have to change its power plan to power saver. Putting it on power saver makes the computer use less energy and reduces its performance, which makes the computer slow and lag. So this computer has great hardware but you can't even use it's full capabilities, because if you do then it will overheat and brake. You can even Google search "Qosmio X70 overheating" and you can find that this is a huge issue with this computer. If you want a gaming laptop that can play high graphics without breaking, then buy something else.
