Cracking the GRE Premium Edition with 6 Practice Tests, 2015 (Graduate School Test Preparation) Premium ed Edition

This book provides a great review of vocabulary words which was my main area of concern. Has a lot of information which can become overwhelming. I started studying soon as I got the book but put it down because of this.It suggests that you study no more than 12 weeks; on week 3 now. 4 stars for now as I haven't taken the GRE yet. Will update on how it helped me after I actually take the GRE.Tip: DO NOT go directly to the practice tests first as you will pull your hair out, especially if you've been out of school for a while like I have.

This is a really great book and it really breaks things down in a way that helps those of us who might be terrified of standardized tests (like me.) The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I found that many of the questions didn't reflect what was found on the test. I took all of the practice tests and read this book cover to cover and still was not very impressed with my score. While it may not be the books fault (I've never been great at standardized tests), I was still disappointed that this book didn't fully prepare me for what I would see on the test.

I was debating between this and the Kaplan book. Thankfully it was an excellent decision based on what I've heard from a friend with the Kaplan book. The online practice tests for Princeton have graders for the writing portion who leave feedback unlike the Kaplan book which does not. I am finding the book useful in preparation for the test. However, I would not recommend this product if one of your goals is to utilize the online practice tests. I've attempted to take several practice tests, however, have not been able to finish a single one in it's entirety. I was on the phone with tech support twice to fix issues. The second issue was the most severe. You see, I found out certain internet browsers are more adept at projecting the content of the test. Apparently, it is ideal if you use Firefox. There should be a disclaimer that the online content does not work with every browser.I have a Macbook and use Safari. Apparently, Safari is not equipped to project all the questions. Even after the help from tech support, none of the math questions will show up when I enter a section, and in every verbal section there are 4 questions that do not show up. The only usefulness I've obtained from taking the test is getting a score on my writing samples.

I have taken the GRE before and I didn't have a very satisfying score. I purchase this book because it combines all the GRE sections in one book. A friend of mine purchase 3 books for each one of the sections (I checked them out, and this book has useful explanations, just as her books). Also, the Premium Portal option is extremely useful. I'm very happy with just one good book rather than 3 bigger books with the same information.

Great book! Easy to understand and helpful! I found the online practice tests particularly helpful because they basically mirrored what it was like to take the actual GRE. Also, a lot of the vocab words in this book were actually on the test! Which was definitely nice.

I bought this book brand new. I tried to go online to register the book as it instructs you to. I recieved an instantaneous message that the ISBN number was not recognized. Haver numerous 10+ attempts at getting through to the books customer support I finally got through and was told this was a publishing house issue and given their number.After contacting them, they discovered they could not register on Princeton's website either even after creating an account.Publishing Clearing house contacted princeton's customer service who said they were able to register the book on their end so there should be no issue.still no resolution. I am very frustrated. and hope that this can be resolved.

This was a great investment for me. The study plans really break down what material you should study based on how long you have 4 weeks, 8 weeks, and several months. I would highly recommend this to anyone taking the test. The tips alone make a huge difference.

The book is good.. paper is of low quality.. However the 6 online tests as promised by the book is something which i could not register or find, the links and the procedure they say by using the ISBN number is something which didnt work for me.. it would have been helpful if the Princeton Review contacts replied to my mails or rcve my calls.. but they didn't .. if someone is really looking for the 6 online exams.. plz dont go for this book as i think this 6 online exams are just a trap word for the book .. otherwise content is good having good explanation, yet not worth the price. Delivery of Amazon is awesome.!!! yet not the book..

Daughter did the exam August 2015. The questions here in this book are easier than what is on the exam.

A very comprehensive guide on how to go about tackling the GRE. It provides an insight into the 'ETS way of thinking'!

This book is well organized, very light to carry and the content is interesting, even as a random test prep, not especially the GRE.
