Briwax Wax Polish Original Walnut 400G

Used this product to update old oak kitchen cabinets. I'd recommend purchasing a Wax Buffing Brush that attaches to a drill bit, to apply this product on smoothly, otherwise it can be a challenge to buff in the wax by hand without having streaks.

Really pleased with this product. Arrived quickly and well packaged. I used it to colour some pine shelves that I had built. I chose the Walnut as I wanted a dork colour, but on opening the tin found it was very dark, almost like black boot polish. However I needn't have worried as applying it to a test piece of wood indicated that all was well. Easy to apply, I used a cloth and gave the wood two coats allowing for about an hour between applications. After each application I buffed the wood up to a sheen. The end results were nothing short of amazing, a lovely rich Walnut colour with a satin sheen that looks really good indeed. You would never guess that the wood was pine underneath! I can highly recommend this product, good price and excellent results. Just make sure you apply it in a well ventilated room, not too bad but the fumes can become quite strong after a while, so had to open windows and doors. Other than that it's a delight to use. So pleased that I chose this.

色味も豊富に揃っていて、クラシックなアイテムです。 乾燥したあとはベタつきもなく扱いやすいwaxです。

仕上がりの色艶は良い感じでした。ただし関係ない部分に付くと変色し取れなくなりました。また臭いが結構きついですね。

WATOCOオイルを塗布した木材に仕上げとして塗布しました。とても使いやすいです。トルエンを含んでいるので臭いが気になるかもしれないと思ったのですが、「しっかり磨き上げすると、さほど気にならない」というネットの書き込みを見つけたので、磨き上げ用に羊毛バフを購入、電動ポリッシャーで磨き上げました。臭いは木材に顔を近づけて嗅いでみると微かに臭う程度で、完了後すぐに室内に設置しましたが誰も臭いに気が付きませんでした。初めて挑戦しましたが、失敗なくツヤツヤで満足のいく綺麗な仕上がりになりました。 長年使用している家具の扉にも使用してみました。水に弱いと書いてあったのですが、「まぁ、その時はまた塗布すればいいかな」と思い、システムキッチンの扉に塗布しました。板に化粧フィルムが張り付けてある扉ですが、表面をスチールウールで磨き、その後塗布、羊毛バフで磨き上げしたところ、ツヤツヤになり、とても綺麗に仕上がりました。ほかの扉にも使ってみようと思っています。
