A complete introductory text of Shafii fiqh. Very useful for any seeker of knowledge. I would recommend reading this with a teacher. These texts are invaluable!

The Ultimate Conspectus is a Masterpiece in Islamic Jurisprudence. It makes the subjects accessible to the scholar and student of knowledge as well. Musa Furber's translation of Matn Abi Shujaa has been extremely beneficial.

Very comprehensive book for Shafi Madhab

I gave this book 4 stars because I would have liked to see some explanatory notes from the translator.However, I believe the author's intent was for this work to be read with a teacher trained in the Shafi'i school.In this case, his translation is a perfect introductory text for novice students.

I've learned a lot from this book. i would highly recommend it.

Another excellent translation of a foundational text by Musa Furber. Includes both Arabic and English.
