The wisdom is profound and the eloquent translation by the editor takes nothing away from the original text written by Imam al Haddad centuries ago. The fact that this book is still in circulation and translated in numerous languages is proof that there is immense blessing in Imam al Haddads work.

It is short (roughly 120 pages,) broken up into 32 chapter, so the topics are powerful but made easy to read. Topics range from certainty, cleanliness, prayer, love of God and contentment. I took a class with a teacher with this book as the focus and it was superb- informative and inspiring. Enjoy!

Arguable my favorite book on perfecting inner character. I have purchased this book numerous times just to hand out to people that I thought may benefit from it. The wisdom is profound and the eloquent translation by the editor takes nothing away from the original text written by Imam al Haddad centuries ago. The Book of Assistance is a must read! If you want to truly get closer to GOD in an intimate way this book will help you. There are so many obstacles that hinder us from entering the Throne of GOD. To be worthy we must be clean spiritually. How do we do that? By removing the impediments that cause us to remain stagnant and foul. We humans tend to have an over- inflated opinion of ourselves especially when doing a self-evaluation. Now what do you think your grade would be at this very moment if the Lord of the Universe was scoring you? Again, this is a must read. The Book of Assistance will change your view of the heart and how to truly love GOD which means pleasing Him and showing gratitude in everything that we say and do. You'll want to share with others after you read it.
