This is delicious, and it really does taste like frozen hot chocolate. I top it with vegan whipped cream. That cuts the bitterness of the cocoa, which isn't too bitter to begin with, and adds a little sweetness. It's not something I'd want to drink every day, but once a week it's great to relax and enjoy a glass of it. Honestly, you can't tell it's vegan at all. It's just delicious. I plan on trying some of the other flavors because so far, the only flavor I've tried is the Frozen Hot Chocolate. I wouldn't say it's refreshing on a hot day. It's too sweet and thick for that, but it's a very enjoyable drink, something to enjoy now and then while relaxing and watching a movie, reading a book, etc. Highly recommended for those looking for vegan drinks.I feel bad because so many of the flavors have coffee in them. I like the taste of coffee, but I can't tolerate any caffeine at all. Even decaf, which still has some caffeine, affects me. I have to go caffeine free. I wish the caramel, my favorite flavor, did not have coffee in it. I'd be buying it every month! But, as it is, I can't have that flavor. I will continue to enjoy the iced hot chocolate now and then and love it. Whether you want sweetness or not, I think the addition of whipped cream makes the drink much better.

Bought this for my granddaughter as she is dairy free and she loved it, she is five years old and did not wrinkle her nose, wanted more so the taste is perfect. Too many times you get dairy, free items and they just taste horrible but this past the five-year-old taste buds.

Love love love this brand. Have been a longtime fan of their salted caramel and other products. I bought the Toasted Marshmallow as part of a three-package assortment for the holidays.Pros: Absolutely love the flavor. I don't know if the marshmallows are responsible, but there is a wonderful spicy hint that this variety absolutely nails with perfection. Vegan marshmallows: fantastic! I can't even tell alternative ingredients have been used, but to be fair, I've been on alternate foods for several years. It tastes, amazingly, like full-dairy cocoa, though you may wish to use alternative milks/non-dairy whipped topping to create creaminess, like any cocoa, if preferred -- it doesn't need it for flavor and satisfaction.Con: Amazon fulfillment only sent two of the three items. This one was missing and the seller was required by Amazon to handle the customer-service part (they were really great to work with.) That was the fantastic one that tasted so amazing. Because it was so great, I ordered another. Weirdly, while the packaging is entirely intact and the flavor remained good, this order was entirely absent the spicy flavor I loved -- and no marshmallows. Honestly, we poured out the entire contents of the pack, no marshmallows. No marshmallow bits.Bottom line -- alternative food and lactose-intolerants like myself, rejoice: here is your cocoa. But the caveats make me hesitant to commit to a subscription.

I was so excited to finally find a hot chocolate mix, I don't drink coffee, that I can drink that does not have any soy in it and taste good also. In fact I like that this product and this company makes Dairy, soy, vegan, lactose. gluten, and corn free mix. I like that this is also Plant base and powered using coconuts which I really like. Have not tried all the flavors yet but this is a must to have all the time. Price was not bad also and like I stated before taste great. Can use almond milk or just water. Enjoy God Bless

I actually really love the toasted marshmallow flavor a lot. It's not overly sweet or chocolatey, and it mixes in well with any non dairy milk and creamer I use. The price has always been an issue. It's very expensive for the small amount you get. However now with the addition of the marshmallows, I'm going to swap brands. You get even less powder because of the space and weight of the marshmallows, and the powder sticks to the marshmallows and doesn't dissolve or mix out. It's really not good, and I don't like the marshmallows anyways. Thought about switching to a different flavor, but I'm going to be checking out other brands which are half the price per ounce instead. Would consider a different flavor if the prices go down, but this was a disappointing and unnecessary change that means I cannot justify the cost any longer. Just buy the marshmallows yourself if you want to put them in and that would solve the issues they have now created.

I used to love Toasted Marshmallow and since they’ve changed it and added marshmallows, I can’t have it. No where did it specify it was a new formula with carrageenan and soy! Also beware that my bags had the expiration dates covered up by the Amazon sticker. And if it’s past the date or anything is wrong, there’s no returns. I’m considering trying the plain Hot Chocolate but may try to find another brand that’s cheaper and trustworthy. Coconut Cloud has proven proven they’re not trustworthy nor a true vegan option for those with alpha gal…like myself.

I cannot eat dairy or gluten and these are exceptionally tasty and rich in flavor. Would definitely recommend and buy again

It was definitely DELICIOUS and did bother my stomach. I made it with almond milk.
