Prescriptive Stretching

Excellent Stretching book
I am utilizing the stretching in the Prescriptive Stretching book to ease the stress pain of sitting in my office chair while I work at my computer. I appreciate having the big pictures showing how the stretching helps my muscles and scoliosis spine continue to function appropriately for my spine health.

Very Helpful
This is the best book that I have found that not only gives you stretches and trigger points that are accurate and, most of all, work if you follow the descriptions. It has a world of interesting and important details that have helped me immensely and hopefully will help you IF you adhere to the instructions. It is good to find a system that alleviates pains I have had that nothing else helped as much as these stretches combined with the trigger point work.

Very informal Explannations
I appreciate the explanations in the wrong way and the correct ways to stretch. This helps me understand how we can make ourselves worse off when we try to stretch ourself, but do it incorrectly.

Very detailed
How I read this: Free ebook copy received through EdelweissThis is a wonderful, detailed book about stretching. The mechanisms are explained well, and there are detailed drawings, and ever so many different stretches, explanations on why they're needed or what they prevent. I was at first so awed with the book I wanted to buy it straight away! But then I tried doing the exercises and realized there is going to be a problem for me personally with following written and drawn explanations. There's just this thing which they can't do that a video or instructor can. For me, who has barely ever exercised, it proved too hard, because I still don't fully get how to do things 'right' - despite the fact that it even has explanations of what to do and what not to do, what the most common mistakes are. So I would say this is a perfect book for those who have done stretching in their life and are somewhat familiar, but want to go deeper. And while it's a wonderful book, the medium itself may be harder for a beginner. A book won't do what an instructor or at least a video might give you. But it is a good resource nonetheless!I thank the publisher for giving me a free copy of the ebook in exchange to my honest review. This has not affected my opinion.

Punkte wiederholt werden, was mEn etwas unnötig ist.

basic but good
I am pleased with the information in the book, but getting cheesed off with the state it was sent to me. This is the third book that has been sent by Amazon damage.
