YES! An folding stand for a tablet without an origami case option
LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I've been trying for ages to find a case for my newest fire tablet - my previous one, of the same size, has a case with a cover that origami-folds into a stand. That case was great - allowed for not just horizontal (video) viewing but also vertical reading mode which I usually use most - but it's also on the chunkier, heavy-duty side and the cutouts won't fit the new tablet so I can't transfer it and all the new cases for the tablet (the 8", btw) don't come in origami-style (but the 10" 11" and I think even the 7" do)! The MOFT stand is the best alternative to my dilemma that I've found.I'd take off a half-star only because it didn't really come with the clearest instructions: not on the best way to place it (centered is best, if you need to know), but it was really easy to remove and re-place as I worked it out, or even that there are actually three fold options (there's another fold on the 'hourglass' shape that can be used as a steeper horizontal incline) but learn by testing I guess. The adhesive strength so far is quite good - I've never had it pull away while using it (and I've used it as a handhold sometimes) and it hasn't moved at all. I love that I can actually remove this and use it again for another device if/when the time comes.I appreciate that this really is super thin - that means there's no extra bulk when I'm holding my device in hand and also no weight added either! If a transparent option was ever made (even with seeing the magnets) I'd buy multiple, because it does take up almost the entirety of the back of my device, covering the very pretty case picture I have. But I'll take covering that up over not having the MOFT stand. Having this is WORLDS ABOVE those cases with the cover that folds into a little triangle at the back that, having tried one, is really only useful in it's "typing" layout because trying to watch movies it just toppled over, and there was no option for vertical standing. All other case options were too bulky or far too heavy to be comfortable. I can't use a case with a cover, but if my phone can survive without one, I think this tablet will too (so far).Final note: Mixed feelings on pulling the stand from flat-mode into fold-mode - the magnets are quite strong and I'm mildly worried that one day, as I'm working a nail underneath to get a grip on it, the material may start to come apart. I use the stand very frequently and kinda wish there was a little pull tab or something grip so I didn't think I'd be scratching or (one-day, maybe) pulling apart any adhered materials. Not something worth downgrading my rating for since it hasn't happened (and I hope never does) but since I've only used this for a week it's early days. But I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!

Reasonably low profile, seems sturdy enough
I'm using this on an Onyx Boox Tab Ultra. There are two things to note:* I think generally for all tablets, it needs to bias towards the right (when facing the back of the device), because the stand is slightly assymetric when folded; with my Tab Ultra, when installed centered per the instructions it was tippy.* Since camera bumps are a thing, the camera bump on my Tab Ultra gets slightly in the way (and I expect other similar tablets would, e.g. the current iPad). But those aside, I'm overall happy with the stand. It is not super-stable, but it is flexible in that it works landscape or portrait, and offers a range of angles. I would like to see either the top of the stand narrowed, or maybe notched to avoid camera bumps. Making the stand shorter would work, but also would reduce the number of possible angles, so...maybe a second model?

absolutely love it ...
Bought this for an ipad. The ipad is not an ipad air so it is heavy and we are using it with a keyboard case that folds behind the ipad to hold it up. However, the ipad is so heavy that when you touch the screen for anything it just falls back. This solved the problem. We can now use the stand with the case as it is very thin when not in use and we love it. This holds the ipad very well that we can tap slightly hard on the screen and it will be held up. once we are done we can fold the stand back down and close the keyboard case as well...definitely recommend this item.

Works with more than just an iPad
I'm not usually a review writer, but I wanted to write this review for anyone else who may benefit from it.I attached this to my Onyx Boox Max Lumi, and it works wonderfully! I think a few other reviews may point out that it's unstable or flimsy, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I attached it to the bottom of the tablet in portrait orientation, and it sits perfectly on a table without falling over or even being the slightest bit wobbly. It's a bit awkward in landscape mode. The viewing angle is not optimal, and it's not the most stable. However, I have a folio case I use for landscape mode, so it's not that big an issue. I mostly attached this for portrait mode (how I use the tablet 90% of the time anyways).Would recommend if you're looking for a lightweight solution to prop up your Onyx Boox Max Lumi!

Great capability - reducing quality
I have bought this for the second time. I love its functionality, and its thinness, it’s wonderful to use and its capability is great. I bought the first one in December 2020 and it lasted me until September 2023. I replaced it with another, and now it’s March and the unit has completely failed, much worse than the prior one.Getting 18 months out of such a thin holder is very reasonable, getting 4 1/2 months out of one is not for the price point. My case has not changed whatsoever, and I use it in the same wet manner on the same device. Given this, I am very concerned about ordering, because I believe that, the quality has probably dropped for some reason, or I got lucky on the first unit.Buy, if you want a super thin solution, but be warned that you might only get three or four months out of it unless you really baby it - maybe

Better than a case
I am fairly careful with my technology so I find cases to be bulky and unpractical. This is a great lightweight solution to have multiple viewing angles without losing the aesthetics and form factor of an iPad.
