Compact, sturdy and affordable
This little mic stand is perfect for on the go packability. As a DJ i like to have a mic that I can put on a table in front of the decks and this is so compact it easily fits plus the goose neck allows flexibility in positioning. Very sturdy, easy to pack and I love it!

Sturdy and flexible
I like how it's weighted as to it stays solidly in position. It has the gooseneck flexibility to position it where it's needed. I use it for recording vocals guitar in my recording.

Dest mic stand

Lower quality than expected.
I purchased based on the reviews saying this base was heavy and sturdy as I use a Shure Sm58 mic, which is a hair on the heavier side for a "home setup" microphone, and I wanted to make sure my mic did not wobble or topple over during a remote audio session. I received the stand today and just set it up.This mic stand is not good. It is wobbly and off-balance when paired with the bendable neck. The metal parts feel sturdy but the treads on the parts don't fit one another so it comes apart easily unless you use some lock-tight or thread glue to keep it from falling apart. It is simply put - not solid whatsoever. Buyer beware.
