Good things come in small packages
I wanted a simple to use coffee bean grinder and this one is exactly what I wanted. I gave away my Mr Coffee grinder and wanted to replace it exactly but the model I had used was no longer available. The Kaffe’ coffee grinder was very similar and operates in the same way. The biggest difference is there are no grind settings like “fine or course” but has one button to press as often or as little as you want to customize the size and texture of the coffee grounds. The more you press, the finer the grounds. I prefer my fresh ground coffee to be a little bit more crumbly vs fine powder, which I find a lot of ground coffee brands to be. This grinder also comes with a small brush that helps in the cleanup process after grinding which I found very useful. The price point is spot on, making it very affordable. I like the small size so it doesn’t take up a lot of storage space either. All in all I’ve been very pleased and impressed with the speed in which it grinds whole beans.

Works Well, Until
I bought more than one of these. The first one something went catiwompuss and the blade spun freely while I was grinding ginger, never to work again. I figured maybe I should have cut the ginger in smaller pieces. Stripped gears inside. Okay, my falt I guessed. So I bought another... The second one just stopped. I ground about 1/2 cup oat flour from processed Oats, not even the whole grain. Easy Peasy... Worked perfect, I just love this machine. Until this moment. The on/off switch had taken a bit of coaxing on more than one occasion. But perseverance usually paid off after thumping, shaking, and repeated button pushing. Not this time. I recalled this quitting problem being mentioned in other reviews, but I wasn't going to have it, I had a project in progress and I needed my oats ground. But try as I might, it would not come back to life. Luckily I have other small grinders to finish the job. I gave it to my home schooled grandson to dis-assemble and trouble shoot for his small appliance repair class. If his report is worthy, I will post his diagnosis.

Same as an older KRUPS brand it replaced
This is one of those products that many companies sell under their own name, and the color may change or very slight other things but they are all basically the same. This replaced a 10 year old or so KRUPS brand grinder that held up well until the switch got flakey and it stopped working. The design and look is identical, other than the way the blade is held onto the shaft, and the power cord is shorter. Also this one is much quieter during operation. I don't have other grinders to compare but you will not get 100% of your grind (shaking up and down while grinding or staying stationary) the exact same consistency, you will be left with some larger pieces. I have to ding it for the short cord, it should be 1 foot longer IMO. I would say buy it, its cheap, quiet, and if its anything like its identical twin that it replaced it should last for years with daily use. UPDATE: After a year of daily use (1 or 2 times a day) the insulation on the power cord cracked where it enters the machine. This exposed the copper power wire. It still works but you are risking electric shock. I contacted the company and they were quick to reply and told me they are promptly sending a replacement. Its only been a day since I contacted them so I did not get the replacement yet obviously, but I'm sure they will be true to their word and it will arrive quickly. Also I find the grinds do tend to stick in the corners and builds up. So when you dump the grinds out and even if you tap it, you will have a build up of grinds that stays adhered to the corners. No problem to remove with a finger or brush but it is annoying. Other than the power cord insulation cracking after aprox 650-700 uses, the machine has operated as it did on day one.

Quiet One-Touch
I prefer to have my coffee from fresh beans. I have tried my grinders and most are consistently loud and do not always turn the bean to fine power. With this grinder, I am enjoying how quit this it is, how quickly it crushes the beans, and how fine the grounds are when complete.

Easy to use
I reviewed this under the coffee, being sad, but I like this grinder. As a coffee bean girl this works well for me. I use it often to grind my coffee beans so far so good.

Super fast and easy
This has been the best purchase I've made recently. I used to use a hand grinder that would take forever to to get enough grinds to make a pot of coffee. This has made it so easy to to be able to have fresh ground coffee. Its small enough to not be bulky and noticeable on my counter top but just big enough so I can grind enough for 10 cups of coffee in one go. The little brush makes it so easy to clean and get everything out of the cup part. Plus its quite enough to where you can hear and hold a conversation. Definitely worth it if you like to grind your own coffee beans!

Kafe Bean Grinder- get one
Nice and powerful. Ground coffee beans into a fine powder in less than a minute. 150 watt motor is just right. It did not struggle. Easy to clean. It seems to be a quality grinder and well made. I like it.

Doesn’t last long
Started out great but broke after 2 months. Granted I’m using it to grind up jerky treats to sprinkle on my dogs food but in theory, that should be easier than coffee beans because it’s softer substance. Regardless, the spacer under the blade broke in half. I’ve had other grinders that lasted years without an issue whether grinding egg shells, oyster shells (very hard!) or jerky treats. Even with unorthodox uses, I’d have thought it would at least go a year. Cannot recommend.

I can't write a fair review as this is not fitted with a UK plug or adapter. The voltage is not suitable for the UK. It isn't safe or legal for use here.
