amazing a MUST for any cyclist who wants to be seen and stay safe
I needed a helmet for my 1st bike since i was a kid, i didn't want just any old helmet, i wanted one that could use in day or night and could help me stay safe, so after lots of research on helmets, i found out about this Lumos helmet and i have to say its absolutely amazing,after adjusting the straps to your requirements it feels really comfortable on the head, i have added my camera ( tomtom bandit) to it which adds weight but after a few rides i dont notice this differencethe lights are really bright enough to be seen, the indicators work really well, i just havnt used the brake light function yet.the app is so simple and a good idea it would be a good idea if LUMOS could make the app tell you more things about your journey tho.the only thing i would change about it if anything is give it a better battery life.

An Impressive Safety Helmet
Excellent safety helmet. Very comfortable to wear. Lights are bright & can be seen in daylight. When riding early in the morning or at dusk lights become very present indeed. Indicators are extremely impressive that can be seen by motorists from the front & rear. A bit expensive but if you ride a lot & ride early or late this helmet is a winner. Personally I feel more confident on the road in various weather conditions.

Bright lights, easy to use
Really pleased with ease of connectivity and the brightness of the lights. Comfortable fit very easily achieved. Well thought out design. Very happy.

Excellent helmet
An excellent product. I have been looking for something like this for a while. I cycle in town and on country roads and I know this helmet will ensure that I’m seen and it is very comfortable. It is expensive, but it is worth it.

all incredibly easy..
Been using this for a year - got it on the Kickstarter. I go out weekly for rides of 3+ hours, and I normally get back with it being in the 60% battery remaining (you can see it via the phone app). I use the slow flashing mode, which I think uses the least battery. I do not use the braking light feature, as my son tells me that it's triggered when I go over potholes etc. Settings, pairing, firmware upgrading ... all incredibly easy ... I really really like this helmet although it's not as comfortable as the KASK I used to use before. But I'll take the Lumus anyway as my balance sucks and I feel safer with the helmet indicators.
