Great quality fan for a low volume application
Bought this fan to replace a higher RPM fan inside a iNuke 3000DSP Amplifier. I'm using the amp in a home theater application, and the stock fan seemed like overkill for this as well as making a decent amount of fan noise as well. Did some quick research on Noctuas website and ended up going for this model. It's not entirely silent, but it's quiet to the point that my pc or any other background noise is louder than it, while still delivering a decent amount or airflow and cooling. Exactly what I was looking for, and even though it was my 1st Noctua purchase, it won't be the last. Do your research and Noctua won't disappoint! Fairly priced for the quality as well.

Excellent as expected
Can’t go wrong with Noctua, got this for a small itx build with 80mm exhaust in the back, works great of course, quiet and I know I can depend on it. I’ve never had to replace a single Noctua for years and years, definitely a go-to brand that’s worth the cost.

quiet with good flow
Same of better flow than the fan it replaced. Bearing on old fan was starting to fail. It would still run at full speed so I am certain the Noctua is at least as good. Its very quiet. A little more expensive, but hopefully will last 5 years or more.

Small fan with big punch.
Very efficient fan for its size. Bought one for my miniITX build as this is the only fan size which can work at the rear of my case. The fan is very efficient. The pressure and airflow are comparable to Noctua ULN 120mm fans. The fan is nice and relatively quiet. Works great. There is only one caveat. The Noctua Redux line relatively noisy in comparison to Noctua ULN fans, due to the increased airflow. One can install the Noctua low-noise adapter to remedy the noise levels at the expense of performance.Keep in mind that "relatively noisy in comparison to Noctua ULN" means that the fan is still quieter than 95% of comparable fans.

Whisper quiet, for relatively low airflow applications
I've kept this one on at full power for about two months to cool the motherboard on my Ender 3 V2. It's just as quiet as always, and I've never had overheating issues since then. Heads up: it's not as powerful as a similarly sized and similarly priced desktop fan.

great airflow, louder than expected.
this fan moves air! but at a slightly louder dB than i was hoping. i used this inside a mixer linear power supply - so depending where you put it could affect noise level. i will note- there is minimal noise- if any, it is just the air movement sound. i ended up using a buck converter to step it down to 7.6 volts and it was considerably quieter with adequate cooling still for my usage.

Outstanding 80mm case fan!
I'm rarely surprised by the quality of PC components like case fans, but these Noctua 80mm jobbers are simply outstanding. Build quality is through the roof and, far and away, the best I have ever laid my grubby hands on. They feel good in the hand, have noticeably more heft and literally ooze quality at every opportunity. The plastic feels denser and more rigid, the fan blades are better made and better shaped, tolerances are tighter and, heck, they even jacketed (not cheaply either, but a nice braided cover) the 3-wire pigtail all the way from the enclosure to the connector. Never before have I seen such attention to detail or this type of commitment to quality construction. Simply a fantastic unit and definitely worth the price. I would gladly pay double the going rate to get my hands on more of these, and this is coming from someone who just bought three of them (replaced both exhaust fans and squirreled away the third as a spare). This truly is the high end of 80mm case fans and, at least to my ear, the 1800 rpm version is absolute perfection. Much quieter than the 1500 rpm, sleeve bearing junk that I had heretofore been using. Unless these fall well short of their claimed 6 year warranty, I will likely never buy another brand again. First impression definitely lives up to the hype and certainly to the price point. Get these while you can, they are worth it.

Great for Smaller PC Cases!
I have two of these Noctua 80mm case fans in two of my budget builds. Keeps'em nice and cool and runs whisper quiet.
