Perfect if you just need a short USB extension to reach
Due to how I have a computer set up on my workbench, a couple of my USB devices (webcam, flash card reader) are just out of reach (we're talking a couple of inches) of the USB ports on the computer tower that is below the workbench table! Instead of buying a USB hub or long USB extension cables (both would be overkill) I came across these shorter 6" extensions and they were just what I needed! These short USB extension cables plug in with a nice solid action, and look to be built well with good materials and good quality. Installation was plug and play, and now both my webcam and flash card reader are connected again!

My 3d printer has the USB port in the back (not all that smart). This short extension cord properly solved the problem. Very satisfied.

No good for my portable HDD
Connected my portable HDD through this and it kept disconnected so I would not recommend this cable for higher current devices. It's fine with my thumb drives though.
