Big punches are great. Small punches are useless.
The big 5/16" punch worked fantastic getting the front sight pins loose in my AR. 2 hits and they were flush with the front sight and it was easy to switch to a smaller punch to get them the rest of the way out. When I switched to the small punch to get the roll pin out of the gas tube, it bent after 2 hits. Thankfully I already have a set of high quality small punches. If you are buying this set for the small punch, look elsewhere. If you just want the bigger steel punches, it's a great value.

This is a great punch set to go along with my gunsmithing punch kit I purchased on this site. It has sizes that my kit I previously ordered did not have. I've used it for many other things as well. I love how durable they are.
