ARTECK Bluetooth Keyboard
I bought this particular product due to the fact that it was Bluetooth enabled, wireless, and rechargeable. After removing the packaging, and charging it, I put it to use. First of all it’s not as flimsy as the keyboard I used previously. Build quality is pretty good, nothing about it made me think that it would not stand up to its intended daily use. The keyboard set up is the standard U.K. QWERTY version. There‘s a nice variety of shortcut keys, all of which are useful and well thought out/easy to remember and, despite its size, the keys themselves are a good size. The trackpad aspect - I noted that there’s been a few comments regarding its ability to function responsively. I didn’t find it to be the same. If anything I was pleasantly surprised, and didn’t feel that it lagged in anyway. For me it’s a definite plus point. Bluetooth compatibility A-ok. Very quick to connect, no issues whatsoever. Overall it’s a well made, useful tool when it comes to turning your tablet into a mini laptop. The price adds to its appeal. In my opinion it’s brilliant value for money, lots of bang for your buck. Customer Service - I did contact the company who, in turn, were very quick to respond, as well as being helpful regarding my questions. In all both the product and the ARTECK brand, highly recommended.

Works on regular iPad
Works with regular iPad, both trackpad and keyboard via Bluetooth. Mine is 10.2” 7th gen but don’t see why wont work with others. Quality is good and is super light. Not all keys map as expected i.e @ and “ are swapped. Trackpad even supports two fingers for scrolling but not quite perfectly. The latest software update adds proper mouse and trackpad support that is great. Being designed for surface go, this does not connect to iPad however. So you have to just put it down on table separately. Another review here says they are using with iPad Pro and they cut the flap off. The keyboard is great for the price but is not as nice as the apple one or other premium ones I have used, but for the price is great and perfectly usable. It would be nice if Artech created an iPad specific version with this trackpad and I would be happy to test one should they see my review.

UPDATE- Excellent Customer Service
I bought this keyboard after reading the reviews but sadly I am disappointed that it is not as good as it was made out to be, it looks great, just like the Microsoft keyboard, less expensive which is a bonus and snaps nicely to my surface go but that's were it ends. It took some time to actually figure out how to connect it and when I finally did the tracking pad sticks and has to be pressed (not touched) several time, often leading to the screen enlarging or decreasing in size. I spend more time my time trying to get the screen view back to a readable size than doing anything else, it is also very jumpy and jerky often losing site if the arrow. Once you open the Surface and it wakes up you then have to wake up the keyboard it does not turn itself on on, and when you close the laptop it does not turn the screen off! whatever the kids have been watching on YouTube is still playing the the Surface is closed back up. You have to apply more pressure to the keys themselves when typing rather than a light touch that was needed with the Microsoft keyboard, some of the shortcuts are on different buttons which isn't a biggy as you get used to the new position but some of the shortcuts don't work. I would suggest If you cant live without a keyboard then spend a little extra and get a better one. *****UPDATE***** I was contacted by the company following my 2* review and they very kindly offered to send me a replacement keyboard. This was received within days and no need to return the original one. I have been using it now 2 days none stop and currently have not had any of the issues as I reported above which confirms that the previous keyboard must have been faulty in the 1st place. It is a bit of a paff to connect but that's it. Now only a light touch is needed to the keypad keys, the tracking pad is smooth and not once have I lost sigh of the mouse nor has the screen enlarged or decreased. No more having to wake up the keyboard and when I close the surface go it now sleeps...Result The customer service is second to none, I appreciate them getting in touch and sorting this for me, so anyone that buys this product and has any issue whatsoever with it please reach out to them 1st I am sure they will gladly replace it for you like they did for me.

IPad Pro a gogo
Before i start i am using it on a Ipad 10.5, no Microsoft device is welcome in my home .... So my Microsoft wedge mouse went wrong ,I have been using it in conjunction with a Logitech keys to go keyboard on my Ipad I was just going to buy another ,but then I wondered if any of the 3rd party surface keyboards which include a track pad ( IOS 13.4 introduced mouse and trackpad support ) would work I looked at Brydge (Just to costly), So I found a Arteck HB216 which was on offer on Amazon which worked out cheaper than a good quailty travel mouse. The trackpad is pretty good if not a little small, and does all the things a trackpad should. (Click, select, double finger drag) . The whole keyboard is about the right size for a Ipad 10.5, it’s a little on the small side, but the travel is very MacBook in feel , and so far it seems accurate and easy to use. Battery life is impossible to tell at this point , the majority of the short cuts work , so volume , brightness etc . And as long as you turn on full access for the keyboards all the key combinations seem to work so tab A gets you back to all open programmes etc. The only slight issue is that not all the keys work as expected the @ symbol seems to map on to the”.There is also a extra flop of material which I assume connects to the surface, but it does not get in the way and it seems to stop the whole thing slipping around. I guess if you were handy you could fashion this in to some kind of attached keyboard, but I loath portfolio cases , so will just carry this is a little slip pocket. An update is that I have cut off all the flappy bit at the top, that assumed holds on the surface, this is now much smaller and the flappy bit is gone. I also liked the packaging, just cardboard ,no plastics

Good value keyboard for Surface Go 3
Was replacing a Surface 3 but found existing keyboard didn't fit the new Surface Go 3. This is a functional keyboard for the Surface Go 3 which fits nicely and also serves to cover the front face when not in use. Only minor niggle would be, as it's Bluetooth, it does take a minute or so to connect; I would have preferred the instant on of a keyboard using the keyboard interface but experience reminds me that even the keyboard on my old Surface did not always respond instantly.

Surprisingly Good Value
You sometimes hesitate to buy something that seems to be a little too cheap but this keyboard is way better than it's price tag. It's thin and light, attaches perfectly to my Go 3 and the bluetooth connection wakes up very quickly. Yes, the keys are not the best but for light usage, emails etc. I can live with their hard feel. There is a little flex to the keyboard but with care it will be fine and I'm certainly not going to see how far it will bend! The mouse pad works well and can be turned off (using a stylus is just as effective). When closed, the Surface automatically goes to sleep. There's no wrap-around protection for the back of the Surface, only the screen is covered so I'll use a sleeve if travelling. Compared to the rather pricey Microsoft alternative, this is amazing value for the casual user.
