Works but pricey
Does the job but shouldn’t cost this much.

Worked fine but ended up not using.
I ordered the tivo wifi adaptor to use in tivo mini. It worked fine and was recognized during setup, which was nice, but, it forced you to update to the newest interface, and we liked the older interface, so I ended up restoring back and not using it. I instead turned on MOCA in the network settings and use ethernet over coax to connect back to the main tivo box. It is working great. I will use this adapter in some other device. Tivo tech support was great also.

Place your TiVo Mini where you want it - works perfectly!
I was placing a TV on the wall outside under a covered deck and wanted to add our TiVo Mini VOX to communicate with our Bolt. I was faced with putting a hole through our wall to the outside and extending our network cable. However, this little WiFi adapter changed all of that! Installed in minutes, configured it with our current WiFi network and it was up and running. No degradation in streaming at all - nice and smooth, no issues. Very happy with the purchase and the work it saved us.

Set up the Tivo box through a wired connection first
You have to set up a new Tivo box using Ethernet before you try to hook up the wireless adapter. I connected the mini to my modem with a short cable and connected the HDMI it to a monitor. Set up the Mini, updated the software (happened automatically) then got it to work with the existing DVR (Tivo Vox) still using the Ethernet cable. I then plugged in the wireless USB adapter and the box automatically sensed it and provided on screen directions. Followed the instructions and the wireless adapter was up and running. You also have to go into the setup menu in the Tivo Vox, under remote and "allow" "Network remote control" of the VOX. If you do not allow the mini to control the DVR (Vox). Hope this helps it worked for me.

Continuous signal without interruption is required
It would be great if setup was automatic because the devices would auto detect each other.

Easy to set up with an existing MOCA Mini Vox
I had been using my Mini Vox over MOCA with my Bolt, so it was already up to date and connected to the Bolt. Moved it to the new TV. Plugged in the USB wifi adapter. Changed my network option from MOCA to Wifi. It found the 5G networks. Logged into my 5G Wifi network. Connected immediately to my Bolt. Easy set up, which for Tivo is unusual! If you have coax cable TV wiring already and have a MOCA ready router, like the one from Verizon FIOS, I would stick with MOCA, but for locations without the coax cable wiring, this seems to be the silver bullet solution.I may try it with an older Mini, but my understanding is it will not work with them. Would have been nice if it would.
