i add to lots of foods especially those that need a little punch. Keeps well in fridge and has excellent ginger flavor

I use a lot of ginger in my cooking and this is so handy to just squirt it into my curries.

I have looked for this product for several months, and finally found it again at Amazon. I am thrilled, and will gift the second bottle to a friend... as I raved about it so many times. Thanks for making it available again. I look forward to making the next recipe.

I add a couple of tablespoons of this ginger into my pure cranberry juice every morning. I love it!

I prefer the pureed/ground version but spice world has discontinued it and replaced the puree/ground with minced. I purchased this because of the picture and hoped it was the pureed/ground ginger. This minced ginger has the same flavor profile. But a very different texture. I mean it is only pickled ginger after all. The same stuff that is available in most supermarkets that's thinly sliced. Thankfully I have a food mill, kitchenaid 5 cup food chopper and a good blender so have option on pureeing pickled ginger into a paste. I have already run a test and it is easy to puree into a paste so will do so. I doubt I will buy this brand again even though I've been buying it for more then twenty years. Since I have to puree it my self I will just buy the common thinly sliced stuff and mill it.I am giving it 4 stars because it still tastes the same and is fine, I am just not a fan of the texture. I assume most people wont care. That and I don't want to blame the vendor for a decision of the manufacture. Although I do wish they would update the picture and description to reflect that it is a different product.

This product works great!! I use it in a lot of recipes.

On peanut butter pasta, on turkey sandwiches, on salads. I love this stuff. I give it for gifts.
