I travel a lot, so I use a small form factor portable hard drive (https://amzn.to/3WvtdEh - 2TB, fast, highly recommended) on my desktop when I'm at home and move it to the laptop I use when on the road. I connect it to the front panel on my desktop tower instead of crawling under my desk to attach it to the back. But when I use a regular USB cable (like the original one included with the drive), the drive won't lie flat on top of the tower and the angle of the cable applies some torque to the USB port on the drive - that can't be good for it over the long run.This right angle USB connector fixes that problem for me. My drive lies flat on the tower, with no pressure on the USB port.I will eventually upgrade my regular desk to a standing one. When I do, I'll also get an under the desk CPU mount. Those don't leave a lot of clearance above the tower, so these will come in handy for that situation too.I only have a couple minor nitpicks, not worthy of removing a star from my rating. One is that the connector is a little long, so it doesn't sit perfectly flush on the computer. The other is that I wouldn't be able to use two of these connectors side by side, since the USB ports on my tower are too close together. But it doesn't prevent using a regular USB cable next to it, nor the thick microphone cable I have plugged in right next to it.I'm very happy with this purchase.

I used thes on a pinball cabinet build and they worked perfectly.

These do exactly what I need and appear to be of good quality. My only issue is that I wish the male end were a bit thinner, it will cover up neighboring usb ports.

I was very happy to discover that they are opposite of each other so that I can plug them both in to make my USB charging ports flush mount. Not I don't have to worry about the cable getting broken if someone hits it while walking by in my camper.

One of the adapters was not functional at all. The other worked just fine.

These worked exactly as designed. Just be sure before you order them that they point in the proper direction, because as you know, USB ports only accept the plugs facing a specific direction.

Had an "impossible space problem" - this solved it nicely!

Bought these to reduce how far cables stuck out from the USB outlet in the living room floor. Have taken some abuse of occasionally being tripped over or stepped on. Still work great! Would definitely buy again.
